Ethan's eyes widened.
It was her, the girl he had given his umbrella to a year ago.
"Hey." She said, her soft, brown eyes warmer than ever. Her golden hair reached her shoulder in bouncy waves and framed her round face perfectly.
"Hello. I am Ethan."
"Thanks for your umbrella, Ethan. I am Lauren." She extended the umbrella towards Ethan saying, "It's yours."
"No you keep it. You don't want to be drenched on your way back."
"I won't be, if you give me a ride in your car."
Lightning flashed and the sound of thunder boomed in the distance.
Rainy days were now absolutely Lauren's favourite.
