"So all the girls stay in one room, Wanna stay with us?" Maddie asked.

She was talking about the competition this weekend.

"Sure." You nodded.

You got up to throw your lunch away, when you ran into Sophie.

"Hey." You said.

"Hi." She said kinda

"What's wrong?" You asked.

She sighed. "Nothing. I guess I'm a little upset you can't do girls day anymore."

Girls day was you and Sophie's thing. It was every Sunday, and you went to the mall, Starbucks, took selfies, ect.

"I'm really sorry. Hey why don't we try for Monday's?" You asked.

"Nah. Jess and I are going shopping every Monday now. Besides you have dance." She told you.

Your mouth ran dry. Sophie was replacing you with Jess.

"O-ok." You said.

Sophie walked away, and you turned to, when you bumped into someone.

"Sorry." You both mumbled.

You looked up, and straight into the blue eyes of Paige and Brooke Hyaldn's brother, Josh.

Josh was a grade above you, and Brooke's twin brother. {A/N: Ok so I know Josh and Brooke aren't twins...but just go with it.😂}

Josh was extremely popular. He was the star player of FRMS the hockey team.

You had been in love with Josh, ever since he complimented the color of your eyes in fourth grade.

"(Y/N), right?" He asked.

You nodded.
He got up, and held out his hand.
You took it greatfully, and he started talking to you.

"So I hear you're on my sister's dance team now." He said.

"Yup." You said popping the 'p'.

"Well here's my number, in case you wanna text me." He said writing down his number on a piece of paper.

He handed it to you.

As he walked off he said, "Your eyes are still gorgeous."

Josh Hyland had just given you his phone number, and complimented your eyes again.

You're on a roll.
-

"Kendall! Point your feet!" Abby yelled during rehearsals.

You were sitting down watching, waiting for your solo rehearsal to begin.

You looked up at the moms, and it looked like a fight was about to break loose with Jill and Christi.

And sure enough it did.

Jill stormed out saying "F*** you Christi!"

You looked over at Chloe and Kendall, and they looked a little embarrassed.

Just then Jill came in and said, "Abby I'm tired of you and the other moms, so I'm taking Kendall out of rehearsal."

And she grabbed Kendall's arm.

"Fine! You're taking opportunities away from your kid, by the way!" Abby hollered after her.

"And she'll be a mess onstage, and'll look like a fool!"

"Does this happen a lot?" You whispered to Paige.

"All the time." She answered.

"Abby, can I just talk to her for a minute?" Jill asked.

Abby sighed, and Jill took that as a yes.

A few minutes later, Kendall came back in, with red eyes.

"Kendall. Are you ready to dance?" Abby asked.

Kendall nodded.

"Ok girls, let's get back to work."
-
After rehearsal, you decided to text Josh.

But Josh had beaten you to it.

'Hey it's Josh. Sorry, Paige gave me your number, so I could text you after dance.😘'

"Paige?" You asked.

"Yeah?" She answered.

"Did you give Josh my number?" You asked.

"Yeah, sorry. He really wanted it. By the way, I'm gonna let you in on a little secret." She said.

"What?" You asked.

"Josh likes you."

"What? No way!" You gasped.

"Yeah. Ever since we were in kindergarten and you made him a macaroni necklace." Paige laughed.

You giggled.

In kindergarten, you and Paige were quite close.

You had gone over to Paige's for a play date, and you and Josh had made each other necklaces.

But it wasn't until 4th until you realized you liked him.

The fourth and faith grade had recess together, and Josh came up to you and Sophie, and told you that you had pretty eyes.

You basically died, and realized you liked him.

"And I know you like him." She said.

"Maybe." You smirked, slipping on your Flip Flops.

"Aww! I totally ship (Y/S/N)!" Paige squealed.

"Whatever Paigey." You rolled your eyes and zipped up your jacket.

"See ya at school!" Paige said, tagging along with Brooke and Kelly.

"How were the moms?" You asked, when you and your mom were in the car.

"A lot better than Stars." She said.

Stars Dance Academy was your old dance studio. They hated you. So they picked on your mom and you, until you decided to leave. You came to the ALDC to show them what you can do

"How was rehearsal?" Your mom asked.

"Great. We've finished my solo, and all we have to do tomorrow is practice with the costume." I said.

"Awesome." She said.

"So which one of the moms was the nicest to you?" I asked.

"Well probably Melissa." She said.

You sighed.

"Be careful. Melissa can lie, I've heard."
"It's ok, I'll be careful." She laughed.
-
You texted Josh all night, and got a text from Jess.

'Look, I just wanted to let you know that Sophie is my best friend now. And soon, I'll ruin your life.'

You rolled your eyes and kept texted Josh all night long.
