I Accidently Cause a Spontaneous Combustion

Frank's POV:

I was mad, of course. But I chose to see some positive sides, none of us will die...if we do everything correct and make good choices.

Yeah that was the only positive I could see. Reyna and I walked back through the portal so we could make the announcement calling all children of Vulcan and anyone else who can build...which evidently all the Romans could, we are skilled in deconstruction and rebuild. If we had to we could take down the entire camp move it and have it reassembled in 3-4 days because of the amount of campers and our building skills. So, Reyna and I just told everyone that everything is cancelled and we are building another warship.

When we came back through the portal Chiron was definitely confused but then we explained why everyone could help and he was very pleased. The campers spread out to settle in and wait for Leo to give the okay. We stayed in the cabin of our parents/legacies Greek counterpart. There were some exceptions though. There was a special cabin built for Roman specific gods children and then some girls were welcome to stay in Artemis's cabin.

I did not settle in right away, I went to Bunker 9 to see how things were going. When I got there Percy, Annabeth, and Leo were all hunched over a table with a blueprint on it. All the Hephaestus kids I had seen were outside carefully removing Fetus's head because Leo again wanted him as the figurehead and to help with maintenance control and stuff.

"Hey guys," I said they all jumped.

"Zhang!! You scared the living schist out of me," Leo yelled wagging his pencil in the air.

"Sorry," I laughed. "How is the designing coming along?"

"It is going very well, we're gonna have the same basic design of the last ship but it is going to be bigger and more rooms, we are also going make the oars more structurally sound than last time so they aren't as easy to destroy. We are going to also make the engine for stable than last time, it'll help having the extra hands who can work around that kind of stuff," Percy explained to me.

"Yeah, the extra hands will be amazing, last time I was doing pretty much all of the heavy work with the engines and stuff like that while everyone else was working on building the rooms and other things like that on the ship. now there will be multiple skilled people working on everything," Leo beamed. He was actually so excited his hair lit on fire.

Annabeth grabbed a cup of water and poured it on Leo's head to put him out and then nodded, "I agree with Leo, the structure and overall quality of the ship, especially the oars and engine will be better having more than 1 person working on 99% of them," she smiled too. Leo was glaring are her for getting him wet though.

"Aquaman , could you please?" Leo said gesturing to his hair. Percy put his hand on Leo's head and the water was all absorbed into his body. "Thank you Fish Boy."

Percy rolled his eyes, "Yeah, uh huh. Keep it up with the nicknames, Repair Boy, and I'll drench all of you, not just the hair." Everyone laughed.

"Percy, as I am sure you remember when Hazel told you, all the Romans are skilled at building so...we brought everyone. They are all getting settled into cabins cause we're all just gonna stay here while we prepare. Reyna and I decided to cancelled all regular events so everyone can focus on preparing for this quest," I told everyone.

"Wish Chiron would cancel everything for us, we need all the help we can get," Annabeth groaned.

"Well, nah, see he did. BUTTTTTT, only for the quarters and people helping build, anyone who can't help still gotta do scheduled stuff," Leo said pulling a juice box out of his tool belt.

I raised an eyebrow at him, "That wouldn't come from a tool shop, did you put that in there previously?"

"yeah, I always fill up on snacks when I know imma have to work long hours," he gave me a goofy grin and held up his Juicy Water juice box, "Cheers my shape shifting buddy."

I rolled my eyes, "I despise you."

"I know," he flashed me another smile.

Hey demigods!! I know this was like super short I am so sorry!! but it was a good filler to get a Frank POV into the story. I'm trying to get at least one POV from everyone in this beginning portion. Once the adventures and more craziness starts happening it is unlikely that anyone will just be a filler POV. I swear on the River Styx. please send feedback <3
