"so, how's being manager?" your friend asked. you left out a big sigh, "i don't know. i have so much to remember."

"well, duh, you're in the volleyball club. not to mention, the men's volleyball club!" she said loudly.

"how did it even happen, i'm so curious." she said as she swung her arms around your shoulder.

"i met their captain when i was in the teacher's office. and err.. he recruited me." you told her while hurrying up your pace.

"what's the rush?" she said, "i'm hungry." you looked back at her.

"i hope they have curry today," you mumbled to yourself. without looking at the hallways, you just kept walking and walking. looking down to your feet as you take your steps, you suddenly bumped your shoulder against someone.

"i'm so sorry!" you said as you bowed.

"(last name)-san?" you heard a mellow voice. you looked up to see furukodani's setter, akaashi. yet again, it felt like cold wind blew within your direction. 'something about him feels really off. i can't quite put my finger to it.' you thought.

"i'm really sorry." you managed to mumble, "what are you doing here though?" you followed up.

"it's lunch time, (last name)-san." he said while looking at you, "are you hurt anywhere?"

'are you hurt anywhere? why does everything he say sounds so familiar. i feel like i've heard it before.'

"i'm fine.. you don't have to worry about me." you said as you smiled, "my friend and i will get going now, see you later!" you told him as you took your friend's hand and dragged her.

as soon as you reached the cafeteria, your friend looked at you with a sly expression. "you know akaashi-san?" she said.

"he's in my club." you told her, "although, i somehow feel like, we know each other." you explained.

you grabbed a tray as (friend's name) tagged along, "what do you mean, somehow?"

"i mean, he says stuff, and i feel like i heard him say it before." you said, "but that's impossible, right? i just met him yesterday."

"ooh deja vu?" she said as the both of you walked to an empty table.

"i guess you can describe it that way."

"you should keep track!" she exclaimed.

"of what?"

"the things he say. of whatever feels familiar."

"i shouldn't make a big deal out of it. i might be imagining it." you said as you chowed on your food.

"i still think you should," she suggested and ate her lunch as well.

"(first name)-chan, can you help me fill up the water bottles?" yukie said as she held three bottles.

"oh yes, of course." you said as you took a few water bottles from the floor.
