"we're finally here!" bokuto jumped in excitement.

"i feel like my legs would fall off." you exaggerated as it was hard keeping up with bokuto's speed while he was literally dragging you to the café.

"you did well." akaashi suddenly popped out from behind and gave you a head pat.

which left you blank.

"aww does our (first name)-chan likes head pats?" bokuto said as he was observing you while you were dumbfounded.

"stop teasing me, it just caught me off guard!" you defended.

"but head pats are nice, don't you think?" kuroo said as he suddenly gave you one as well.

"you guys are messing up my hair." you told them as you tried patting down your hair.

"what are you waiting for? sit down." akaashi said as he urged you to sit next to him.

kuroo snickered as he walked pass by you to go to bokuto, "you still look great with messy hair." he mouthed and gave you a thumbs up.

"ill sit next to akaashi-san too." kenma said as he walked towards to where akaashi was as well.

"hey, why didn't you sit next to me?" kuroo exaggerated as he was talking to kenma

"you're loud." he bluntly said and grabbed a menu.

"(last name)-san, what would you like to order?" akaashi asked as you sat down next to him, making your arrangement as akaashi in the middle of both you and kenma.

"ah i dont know what to get.." you said as you took a glance over the menu.

"i feel like you'll enjoy (something you usually order) and a tall glass of (preferred beverage)" kuroo suggested as he was scanning the menu.

oddly, he got the things you like correctly. "you seem to have great taste, ill get that then." you said as you smiled at him.

"feels like we've know each other for so long, huh?" he laughed as he made his remark.

"indeed."

"are you sure you only met today? feels like you've been besties behind my back!" bokuto complained as he faced kuroo.

"you'll always be my favorite bro, come on." kuroo defended himself as you both looked at them,

"i'm pretty—" kuroo cut you off mid sentence.

"you are." he said and smiled.

"..what i meant to say was.. pretty positive i've only met this man today" you said as you coughed, while akaashi looked at kuroo with a deadpan expression.

"ouch (first name)! you could've called me your man though!" he complained.

"but you're not." you quietly told him, as bokuto quickly  said "brooo, should i call you an ambulance? you got shut down, deadly!" he snickered, as kenma did the same.
