"you really didn't have to, akaashi." you said awkwardly as you both walked towards the bus station.

"i was going to this direction either ways, so its better if i walk with you." he said as he hummed.

it was like music to your ears. but somehow, walking together alone didn't feel so indifferent. it felt like you've lived again to experience this kind of scenario.

"are you going with us?" he asked breaking the silence.

"oh huh, where?" you suddenly mouthed as you were lost in your own thought.

"to see the full moon." he smiled. "i heard from bokuto-san that he asked you to come with us."

"oh, yeah, he did. and yes, ill go with you." you said as you smiled back.

you saw him form a faint blush as you both reached the bus station.

"you should go to where youre going now. i can wait alone." you said as you sat down on he bench while waiting for the bus.

"its quite late, ill see you off," he said, "ill go when i see you get on the bus."

"oh." was the only word that escaped your lips.

the two of you sat closely together as you both waited for the ride. it was silent. yet his silence was comforting.

you gazed at him while he was scrolling on his phone. 'how beautiful.' you thought to yourself.

you checked your phone for the time and it was already 10:07 pm. the bus was running quite late.

"(first name)?" you heard akaashi say

"oh, yes?"

"what bus do you go onto?"

"oh. bus 289"

"ah, your bus will be late for 30 more minutes." akaashi said as he put his phone inside his bag.

"i see. thats why it was taking long." you told him. "you should get going, i dont want you to get home too late. you practiced hard, so you must be really tired." you once again blabbered as he stared at you.

he gave you a warm smile, "you must be tired too. being a manager isn't easy." he said as he gave you a head pat.

"i wouldnt be at ease if i left you all alone. allow me to accompany you. besides."

"i would like to get closer with you."

as i said those words i saw her ears go red, it was quite adorable to witness.

"your ears are red." i commented.

"im just cold" she quickly replied trying to not look my way.

i chuckled in awe as i just stare.

"hey don't laugh at me!" she said as she cupped her face.

it was a good choice to accompany you, even though every excuse i made earlier was a lie.

'i somehow just wanted more time with you.' i thought to myself and quietly sighed.

i gazed at her and all these fuzzy emotions and blur memories come at me all at once.

i wonder why you feel like home.
