What

You stare at the hospital window, a paper neatly folded on the table.

"Hey, you feeling okay?"

Alex said as he enter the room.

You look at the IV injection on your hand, 

"Yeah, thank you for saving me"

You smiled at him,

"How was your condition?"

He asked, he was the one how found you almost out of breath in the forest that night.

He was in panic and they didn't want to cost any scene so the gang drive you all by themselves in the hospital. That leads you here, you just woke up an hour ago and the doctor talked to you a few minutes ago, felling you what condition you have

"We are still waiting for your physical exam"

The doctor stated, making you nod

"Also, does your family perhaps have a history of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy?"

"Hyper what?" 

You frown

"And I'm sorry doc, but I'm an orphan, I know nothing about my family"

You said with a sad smile.

"I see"

He seems to think for a few moment before sighing

"Okay, (Your name) here the thing"

The doctor sit on the vacant seat beside your bed,

You have to admit he seems young to be a  doctor,

"I know that it seems like I'm jumping into conclusion"

You heard him sigh for a moment as your eyes darted on the folded paper on the table beside you

"But to me it seems like you are  showing symptoms of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy"

For a moment you felt your heart stop

"Okay... What's that?"

You questioned the doctor

"Oh right,  Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, HCM for short is most often caused by abnormal genes in the heart muscle. These genes cause the walls of the heart chamber, left ventricle, to contract harder and become thicker than normal. The thickened walls become stiff. This reduces the amount of blood taken in and pumped out to the body with each heartbeat."

He explained making you raise an eyebrows

"Okay... What makes you think I'm suffering from it?"

" Well it is simple, the signs and symptoms of HCM includes, shortness of breath, chest pain, fatigue, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting"

He darted his eyes on you as you gulp,

"I believe you suffer in all of this"

He stated with a sigh

"Yeah..."

You admit, biting your lips,

"If I am to be diagnosed with that Hyper-thing. What would happen to me?"

"Oh well,  HCM is a chronic disease that can get worse over time. This can lead to poorer function and quality of life, long-term complications and more financial and social burden.  People with HCM often need to make lifestyle changes, such as limiting their activity, to adjust for their disease.   As HCM progresses, it can cause other health problems. People with HCM are at higher risk for developing atrial fibrillation, which can lead to blood clots, stroke and other heart-related complications. HCM may also lead to heart failure. It can also lead to sudden cardiac arrest, but this is rare, you have nothing to worry about"

He said with a small smile on his face

"I see... Am I going to die then?"

You asked all of a sudden, making him startle 

"Wha-- No!-- I mean it depends"

He utter, it was rare to see a doctor in panic making you laugh.

What do you mean it depends?

"You're funny doc, oh, and it seem like you are too young to be a doctor"

"You thought so? Well everybody says that, saying I look like a teenager when the truth is that I'm on my late 20s"

He laugh, for some reason you find it comforting

"Oh really?"

"Yeah"

He smiled, (eye color) iris staring at your.

"I don't really want to become a doctor"

He stated,

"I came from a poor family back in (country name)"

He added

"And my parents end up putting my sister on an orphan because she was sick"

He sigh, making you look at him hard

"I never saw her, nor has the chance to meet her."

"So when I manage to achieve my dream to become a doctor, I thought it would be the best to find her, i tried my best but never found her"

"Pity"

You commented 

"You sounds like a good brother"

"You thought so?"

"Yeah!"

You chirp, smiling at him

"Doc?"

You both look at the door

"Oh, looks like I over stayed my visit, I'll inform you once there was a findings"

He smiled at you before walking towards the door, all you could do was to wave at him.

"There was no finding yet"

You said with a sigh reaching over the folded piece of paper on the table

"Oh I see"

Alex said, looking at your doings,

"Was what that?"

He said referring at the paper as soon as you saw the words printed on it

"Blue"

You read in shock, suddenly looking at Alex wide eyes

"I was invited in blue"
