A different Naruto than the one you know

Chapter 2

Third pov:

       After Kushina woke up she saw she was still in the Uzushiogakure village park but had fallen off the swing. Remembering everything that happened she ran to her home where her ryoushin were holding each other and crying.

      "Haha, Chichi what's wrong? Why are you crying?" Kushina asked, still trying to get her kid brain to wrap around the concept that her ane was gone and that she had a new ane now. Her Haha sniffled and glanced at her shujin and decided that it would be best to tell their musume that her ane had gone to heaven. Getting on her knees so that she was eye level with her musume she quickly hugged her before telling her Mayumi had gone to heaven. As the words swirled around Kushinas' young brain it finally seemed to click and she pulled away from her haha and ran out the door.

      It had been a few hours since she'd run away from her home and she found a cave and sat down behind a rock close to the entrance. She didn't even feel the presence of the other person but she heard the pebble that the person kicked hit against the ground. Her head shot up to see who had found her and to her astonishment it was a girl who looked a lot like her ane but different.

      Her ane had, had bright thick red hair before she got sick and she had really fair skin. She had been tall for her age but she had a young face and some muscle but not a lot. She had just started training to be a ninja when she'd fallen ill. The girl in front of her had the same thick hair and length but it was startling white with a silver shine that made it look like moonlight. Her skin was lighter than her sisters but she had the same build and was quite a bit taller than her as well. Kushina stood and walked closer to the girl and circled her, noticing her nails looked like small claws and while her face looked young it was also much sharper and defined. It was her eyes however that helped her realise just who the girl in front of her was. She gasped as the girl smiled a smile only her sister could do, as tears streamed down her face again she hugged the girl in front of her tightly.

      After the two girls hugged each other Kushina broke away, first looking up at the other girl with a look that told the taller of the two to spill the beans. To which the taller girl nodded and sat down and proceeded to explain what had happened. She told Kushina about what she was and how she was captured then being put into her onee-san and how she spoke to her and told the little girl just how sorry she was. How she promised her onee-san that she would look after her and how she had made it so her onee-san could say she loved her one last time.

      Then after her onee-san had faded and gone to heaven and she woke up that the Uzukage, the leader of Uzushiogakure, was disappointed that her onee-san had died and she wouldn't have a jailer they could control. Then to now and how she couldn't leave the cave because there were seals keeping her here.

Kushina nodded along to everything her new ane was saying when the girl stopped and looked at her.

   "Kushina, would you give me your blessing as my new imouto to take your sister's name?" The tall girl asked.

      Kushina couldn't believe her ears, this powerful person who looked like her ane was asking to honor the promise she made to both her now parted ane and herself. Happiness consumed Kushina as she nodded vigorously and threw herself at her new ane in a big hug.

      Over the next few months Kushina visited her ane in secret and brought her copies of every book in the village library and was even able to get the restricted books. Which in all seriousness wasn't that hard because the librarians didn't really take their jobs of guarding the books all that seriously. Because they felt that no one would dare try to get them, with how guarded their village was so they didn't think they needed to protect it from those inside the village.

      However one day Kushina was called to see the Uzukage about something really important. So she went and when it was over she felt that her whole world was crumbling for a second time. She would be leaving her home without her parents and travel to the village hidden in the leaves and she would be told the rest of her task when she got there. The Uzukage told her she would be leaving immediately so Kushina raced to her ane to tell her about what was happening.

      When she got to the cave she raced in not realizing tears were cascading down her face. Her ane turned around and quickly scooped her imouto into her arms and smoothing her hair so she could calm down enough to talk. Finally Kushina caught her breath and told her ane everything that the Uzukage said. Mayumi smiled at her imouto and kissed her forehead.

      "Everything will be just fine imouto. You know I'll always be here for you and remember we changed the seals so that you're the only one who can release me and only for really big emergencies." When Mayumi finished Kushina nodded and felt a new sense of courage so bidding her ane goodbye for a while she went home and packed what she would need for her trip.

      A few years had passed since Kushina had left for the village hidden in the leaves while she had been there, her home village, the village hidden in the whirlpools, had been attacked and eradicated for the sake of the five nations. When Kushina heard she cried for her parents then departed the next day to see if her ane had survived. Even though the seals she and her ane had on their arms would tell both of them if either were hurt she still wanted to make sure.

      Arriving in the now destroyed village she didn't even give it a second glance unaware of the shadow that had followed her from konoha. She raced through the trees and before long she stood in front of the cave her ane called home. Hesitating for only a moment she walked straight in and began calling for her ane. Suddenly a hand wrapped around her and covered her mouth and the other arm pulled her into the person and they were both pulled into the shadows of the cave. Kushina struggled for a few moments before she was able to wiggle her head and see it had been her ane who had grabbed her.

      Feeling ecstatic that her ane was just fine she finally heard the light barely there tip toes of another person. She and her ane waited and watched as the person came further into the cave and finally they had just appeared in front of them when Kushina realised she knew that mop of blond hair.

      Enraged that he had followed her to her home without even asking as well as her not noticing he had followed her she flew out of the shadows and nearly got a few kuni to the chest. But her ane had gotten in front of her and had taken the blows of the weapons. Mayumi stepped back as Kushina stepped forward and Kushina saw at least five kuni sticking in her chest. Mayumi just casually started pulling the kuni out and the male watched as the wounds closed without a scar.

      Kushina then began ranting at the boy, now known as Minato, about how she couldn't believe he would do something like this and didn't he trust her. After a few more minutes of Kushinas' rant she took a breath and the boy asked if everyone here was supposed to be dead why was some lady in a cave still alive.

      To which the cave lady approached him and he was actually afraid before he realised she had stuck her hand out and was waiting for him to shake her hand. Minato was stupefied and he shook her hand as she introduced herself and Kushina's ane. When Minato heard that he fainted. Kushina huffed at the collapsed boy before picking him up giving her ane a hug and was headed off back to Konoha.
