A different Naruto than the one you know

Chapter 8

Naruto's pov:

Haha knew that I was trying to draw out Mizuki-sensei so she waited around on the top of the academy watching everything unfold. Because Sasuke didn't have anything else to do he was also with Haha watching what was happening. Hinata was doing what she does best which is hiding in plain sight, she was sitting in a branch right above me where I was sitting on the swing. Mizuki-sensei came up to me thinking I was all alone and began telling me, in a super pervy and creepy way I might add, that there was a way I could become a ninja and make Iruka-sensei proud. So I played the part of dumb kid and listened intently to what he was telling me before telling him I would do it with a fist bump to the air.

So that's how I ended up in the middle of the forest waiting for Mizuki-baka, the traitor with Haha and Iruka waiting with me. Mom and I let Iruka know he was super close and to continue with the plan. So Iruka jumped down from the tree while looking frantic as he started asking me why I would steal the scroll and what did I mean if I showed him a jutsu from the scroll could I graduate.

Suddenly kuni were flying from where Mizuki was hiding and Iruka jumped in front of me and the kuni hit him in the back. Then Mizuki went on about there being a secret that was kept from me, a secret that even the hokage made a law that no one could mention it to me. I made it look like I was stunned as he 'revealed' that I was the nine tails. Which is incorrect, I am Naruto but I do have Kurama inside of me. I looked down while I was trying not to laugh and with my shoulders shaking it looked like I was crying.

     Iruka moved off me and sat down and started laughing which caused Mizuki-baka to get really confused. Then I looked up and he noticed I was laughing as well.

"What is the meaning of this!" Mizuki yelled. "I just told you, you are a demon!" He looked back and forth between the two of us getting angry.

"Well haha! I've known exactly who and what I am since I was four, but I'm sure my mother would tell you that she's the real demon." I laughed out while wiping my tears away. Iruka nodded along as I finished.

"What are you talking about?!" Mizuki bellowed.

"My son said." Mom said with a pause and everyone turned to look behind me at her biju form. "That it would be more accurate if you described me as a demon instead." She finished with a satisfied growl at the now terrified Mizuki who passed out a moment later. Mom shrunk back down to her human form and I ran to give her a hug.

"Mom! That was so awesome! The look on his face was priceless!" I said as we all started laughing again. By now the anbu had gotten there and mom healed Iruka so that he wouldn't bleed out or anything. Mizuki was arrested and I handed the scroll back to the anbu that would give it back to the hokage.

Mom and Iruka stopped me just outside of our apartment and Iruka took his headband off and placed it around my neck before telling me to take extra good care of it. I nodded super excited to now be a ninja and be able to let my henge go.

~Time skip no jutsu~

Again I arrived at the academy super early but Sasuke, Hinata and I had wanted to get there so we could drop our henges before the others got there. As we did the hand sign kai our fake appearances melted away and we all grew a few inches and toned up and filled out slightly. Sasuke and I were roughly the same height with him being just slightly taller with long dark hair that reached the middle of his back. He had streaks of silvery white hair intermixed with his raven locks. His baby fat all but disappeared and nice sharp cheekbones were the result.

Sasuke was wearing a mesh t-shirt with a longish jacket with the sleeves rolled up to showcase the seals mom had given us. The jacket also reached his knees and had the collar flipped up. Black anbu pants with tape wrapped around his right thigh with anbu sandals and two katanas resting on his back. He was currently putting his hair up into a ponytail with pieces of his bangs coming loose and hanging hotly in his face.

Hinata was only an inch or two shorter than us now and her hair also became long but she had a side shave on the left side of her head. The rest of her midnight blue hair was pulled to the side in a braid with deep red pieces threading through the braid that came over her shoulder and to the middle of her stomach. (Kurama had thought it was unfair that mom had gifted Sasuke so he decided he would make Hinata part of the family but through him and not her hence the red streaks).

She was wearing a long grey tank top that had splits on the side and stopped at her knees. A thick leather belt was wrapped around her waist and showed off her developing hourglass figure. Hinata had anbu pants like Sasuke that were also black but had bandages on both thighs. She was also showing off the seals mom gave her as well and had one katana on her left hip. She also had anbu sandals with hidden kuni in them.

My own henge fell away and I gotta say it felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders. I could feel my white and red hair fall down my back. It wasn't as long as moms hair but mine was still pretty long. I was wearing a three quarter sleeve mesh shirt that showed off my muscular frame and seals. My anbu pants felt way better than those of the hideous orange jumpsuit and I had tape on my left thigh and regular anbu sandals. My own katana was also strapped to my back but I only had one.

As I began putting my hair up like Sasuke's (also with my bangs wiggling out and framing my face hotly) we heard the door slide open and we turned to look at who it was. Shikamaru was lazily walking in with a yawn and stopped mid step when he saw us. His eyes nearly bugged out of his head as he took a second to really look at us. As he got closer to have a better look we noticed just how tall we'd actually become. Because being around mom and Kurama in his henged human form we still thought we were short but with Shikamaru circling us we realised we were an entire head taller than him.

Finally after a second Shikamaru looked up at us.

"When did you guys get so tall and it looks like you guys have had super intense training to look like that?" He was totally enthralled on how we managed to change this much in one night. But since he was a Nara he assumed we had always looked like this but henged to look different.

Before we could answer him though Choji, Kiba and Shino as well as Akamaru because he was in Kibas' jacket. They also stopped and stared at us but they didn't seem to recognise us. Shino might recognise us, but we can't tell with his jacket covering half his face and his glasses covering his eyes. Kiba spoke first after running over to us and getting right in our faces.

"Who are you guys? You don't look familiar and you look more like chunin than genin, but you guys smell familiar so it's really throwing me off." He accused with an annoyed tone. Choji and Shino also nodded once he finished.
