New Horizon

Chapter 1

I was so happy that my mom, Miranda Sanchez found a new job. My mother has silver hair, blue eyes, is 5'3 and is in her mid 20's. Her previous job was a 9 to 5 job which really sucked. However, while she was working that 9 to 5 job she used her free time to start up a business in technology because she did have a degree in technology.

So now she's a business owner of 'Sanchez Tech' it was a small business that sold and made electronics for gamers, engineers, cars, military, and pretty anything that had to do with electronics we sold and made.

Sadly we had to move to a new town which meant a new school because she wanted the business to be located there, I didn't mind the location because it was very beautiful one look out of our apartment sweat you could see a small lake with a bridge crossing over to the next city, I was even surprised by it.
I was just sad about how I had to leave my friends behind.

"Well guys I guess that this is good bye" I say with a sad tone.
"We'll miss you Athena!" My friends say crying their eyes out.
"Come on guys I have your numbers I'll call once in a while." I say with a smile on my face.
"R-Really?" They all say sobbing at the same time.
"Yes, really." I say smiling once more.
"O-Okay." They all say once more.
I hug them all in a group hug. After the big group hug I give each of them something that reminded me of them. I gave Samantha a necklace made out of silver that had a dragon as the pendent, Julia a paracord bracelet, and Dexter a black tungsten ring. I also gave each of them a letter addressed only to them.
Samantha is 5'4 with dark brown hair with black eyes, Julia is 5'4 with red dyed hair, had a septum piercing, and brown eyes, Dexter is 5'5 with green eyes and blond hair.

Samantha's letter said
"Hey, thank you for sticking with me through everything in my life. And thanks for being my first friend. Without you I think I would be a huge mess haha. But anyways I hope you like your gift, I gave you a dragon because you love dragons and you sometimes remind me of them heh. Anyways thank you for everything kid I'll try my best to keep in touch.

Julia's letter said
"What's up lil twin,
I hope you love your present as we both love nature and would always go on adventures and coming back home late making our parents always worry. Anyways, I'll try my best to keep in touch. And try not to get into a lot of trouble without me :), see ya twin.

Dexters letter said
"Hey man,
I know we didn't always get a long but we had fun together haha. Hell me and you made more trouble than me and Julia ha. But i hope you like the present you brat. I'll try to keep in touch. And sorry for a short letter but I will miss you and our sparing.

Once I gave my presents and letters I said good bye one more time hugging them one by one. I then enter my moms car waving goodbye once more.

"Hey, Athena are you okay?" Asked my mom
"Yea, I'm alright." With a some what sad tone.
"You miss them don't you?" Asked my mom knowing all too well how I felt about leaving my best friends.
"Yeah..." I say still pretty sad.
"Don't worry you'll make new friends and I know you'll keep in touch with them." My mom said trying to cheer me up.
"Yeah..." I say somewhat more happy.

We arrived to the apartment going back and forth to the car and to the apartment bring boxes in. A few mins passes by and we were finally finished bringing the boxes to the apartment.

"Fuck, I'm tired!" I say.
"Language" my mom said.
"Oh sorry" I say.
"Athena, how about me and you rest a bit and then go out for dinner, I'm too tired to cook anything." Said my mom
"Hmm? Yeah, sure" I say heading to my room pretty much almost knocking out.
I checked the time and saw it was only 15:26 pm (3:26 pm) so I set an alarm for 18:30 pm (6:30 pm) and knocked out.
