New Horizon

Chapter 2

Athena wakes up to her alarm blaring telling her to wake up. She looks at her phone to see that it's 18:30 pm (6:30 pm) and remembers that she's going out to eat with her mom in a bit. So she got up and headed to the bathroom washing her face and coming back into her room to change into a grey t-shirt, black pants, black shoes, and a hat. Once she was done she sees her mom dressed as well in black leggings with a black tank top and black heels.

"Are you ready to go Athena?" Her mom asked
"Yeah, I'm ready. Where we going though?" Athena asked
"Oh, we're just going to family restaurant." Said her mom walking out the door
"Okay." said Athena following her mom like a baby duck

Athena and her mom get the the restaurant. As they were waiting for their food her mom asked "So you know what your doing for your new school right?"
"Yep" I said
"So you know what your wearing?" Asked my mom
"Yeah, I don't really like it though." I said pretty pissed off.
"Yeah, I understand but school rules right?" Said my mom smiling at me
"Yeah, your right." I said giving her a small smile

Today's Sunday and me and my mom still haven't unpacked everything yet so my mom left me to unpack everything while she went grocery shopping. So I took advantage of this time for some alone time and started to unbox my things while listening to some songs in my one of my playlist that had a bunch of random songs but this one just happened to be first.

As I unbox my stuff I got to my acoustic guitar, electric guitar, my bass, and skateboard. I put all of them in the right hand corner of my room and started to set up my "studio" where I also play video games. Trying so hard not to pick up the guitar and play it.

I finish unboxing my things as well as the other things in the house like things for the kitchen and living room. Leaving my moms stuff alone. She came back home with some groceries and started to cook as she cooked I went and took a bath.

Huh I guess tomorrow is the big day, ugh I do not want to go to an all girls high school there's no fun in those places. And don't even get me started on the fucking uniforms ugh whatever I'll just have to keep my head down.

As I was taking the bath i dunked my head in the bathtub and closed my eyes thinking about the new school and about my old school with my friends.

"Athena dinners ready!" I hear my mom yell
I got out of the tub and yelled "Coming!" Drying myself off and changing into a white t-shirt with black shorts.

As I got to the table my mom said "Thanks for unpacking everything."
"No problem" I said
"Also, make sure you don't get into trouble on your first day!" Said my mom with a stern tone
"Yeah, I'll try." I said knowing damn well that I was immediately going to get into trouble.
"Also, I'm going on a business trip in 3 days. My mom said taking a bite out of her food
"Already? Damn, I guess your already popular." I said laughing
"Yes, you could say that anyways, I'll be gone for about a week and one of my friends daughters is going to stay with us since she doesn't want her daughter to live by herself or with her grandfather. She will also be sleeping with you." Said my mom
"Ight" I said.
"So come home early and be nice!" Said my mom with a strict voice.
"Okay." I say trying not to sound pissed.

God damn it. FUCK. And here I thought I could get some time alone to I don't know sing and play my instruments because I hate singing in front of people.

Once dinner was finished I washed the dishes and told my mom good night then headed over to my room.

Well if there's going to be another girl living here I guess I have to hide my things I hope she isn't annoying or anything.

I quickly rearranged my room so that my instruments were hidden. (I don't tell people my hobbies.) I then looked out the window one last time before my new life started.

Well let's hope for the best tomorrow

I then went to bed trying not to have an anxiety attack.
