Chapter 7

"H-Hey Mei?" I ask nervously
"Yes?" Mei asked putting down her book
"Um, I was wondering if you wanted to go watch a movie with me and maybe go to the mall afterwards?..." I ask practically having an anxiety attack.

Please say yes

"Like a d-date?" Mei asked blushing
"I-I mean if you want to call it that then yeah sure a date." I say blushing harder
"Y-Yeah, I'd love too." Mei says blushing
"O-Okay! Um let's say 10?" I say happy as fuck
"Y-Yeah." Mei says smiling

We both get up at 9 and get ready, I was the first one done and waited in the living room for Mei. I was wearing a black hat, grey T-shirt, black pants, grey shoes, and a silver necklace.

"Mei, you good?" I ask
"Y-Yeah, coming!" Mei yells from the room

I hope Athena likes my outfit...

As I was looking through insta while Mei walks outside with black leggings, a white crop top, and while shoes.

Damn she's cute.

"Ready?" I ask
"Y-Yeah." Mei says blushing
"Also you look cute." I say smiling
"Th-Thanks." Mei says turning red

We both arrive at the theater and we decided to watch a horror movie even though I think Mei doesn't like horror movies. I pay for the tickets and food anyways. As we were watching the movie a girl with no eyes that had blood dripping out of her sockets with pale skin and long black hair pops out and most of not all if the people watching the movie screamed.

Welp that was expected...

I then felt something on my arm holding me tightly, it was Mei. I leaned towards her and patted her head.

"Hey don't worry it's just a movie." I whispered
"I-I know b-but still." She whispers back scared
"Here give me your hand." I whispered
"O-Okay." She whispered

I start to hold her hand and another bloody scream came from the main character because she saw her whole family's heads chopped off while the pale women was running at her with a huge knife. But this time Mei held on to my hand tightly while still griping my arm and has her eyes closed.

Damn, she really doesn't like scary movies...

I saw this and just kissed her on the head reassuring her that it was just a movie and this wasn't real. She just nods her head while still griping my whole arm and hand.
After the movie was done Mei looked like she had multiple heart attacks.

"Hey, you know if you didn't like scary movies you could've just told me." I say
"N-No it's okay the movie wasn't that s-scary."Mei Said with a pale face
"You sure?" I ask
"Y-Yes." She says
"Okay then... AHH!" I yell
"AHHH!" She yells
"Haha, see you are scared." I say laughing
"Sh-Shut up!" She says while punching my arm
"Okay okay sorry. Ight come on let's go get something to eat." I say
"Ok." Mei Said
"Where do you want to eat?" I ask
"Is there a cafe?" Because I want cake." Mei says
"Yeah, I think there is one around here." I say

We start to head over to the cafe while holding hands.

Huh, she's still holding my hand.

We get to the cafe and order what we wanted. I ordered chocolate cake with tea as my drink while Mei ordered strawberry cake with iced tea as her drink.

We ordered our food and while we were waiting we started to talk about me.

"So what do you like?" Athena asked
"Oh, well I like sweets, music, sports, and animals! What about you?" I ask
"Well, I like music, sports, nature, and art." Athena says
"Nice, what's your favorite genre of music?" I ask
"I like a lot of music genres but I mostly listen to rock, alt rock, metal, and chill music but I'll listen to any music genre." Athena says
"Same I like rock too." I say

We then got our food but as we were eating we hear "Hey, Athena!" We both turn around to see who it was.

"Avery? Aye what you doin here?!" Athena asked
"Nothing much I just wanted to get some alone time because you know how parents are." Avery said
"Heh, yea." I say
"Hmm? Oh hey Prez. Wait what you two doing with each other?" Asked Avery rising a brow
"Nothing, just hanging out." Athena says
"Yeah sure, well imma get a drink and go around." Avery said
"Ok." Athena Said
"Also, you wanna hang Monday?" Avery asked
"Ight bet, not like I got anything to do." Athena Said
"Bet. See ya Monday then. Don't forget!" Avery said while going to order her drink.
"Yeah yeah." Athena Said

We finished our food and started to walk home while the sun was setting.

"Hey, Mei before we go home I have one more place that I want to go to. So can we go?" Athena asked
"Yeah, sure." I say

We then headed to the park and took a path up a hill, as we reached to top of the hill.

"We're here." Athena Said

I look in front of me and see the city turn into darkness but soon lit up again because of the moon, lights, and stars, it looked so beautiful.

"Hey, why did you bring me here?" I ask looking at her
"Well it's because when I was out really late I found this trail and followed it and it lead me here." Athena Said looking back at me
"So that's why you were out so late?" I ask
"Yeah kinda. Anyways did you like the date?" Athena asked
"Yes, I loved it actually. Maybe we could do it again?..." I asked looking away from her blushing
"Yeah, we can but for now let's head back home." Athena Said
"Yeah." I said

We walked back to the apartment while holding hands and once we got there we changed our clothes and fell asleep in each other's arms. It felt like a dream but I knew for a fact that it wasn't and I was happy with that. I hope that me and her could date it seems like she likes me too...

Maybe I'll plan the next date...
