Chapter 5

After I was finished with the talk with Mei I texted my mom that I'd be home late because I would be studying and might be staying over with a friend. Anyways, I start to walk out of the school and into the city, on my way I saw a corner store so I went to go buy a drink. As I was drinking I pretty much crossed the bridge and saw the big buildings.

So pretty.

As I was walking around I was also spotting out the place because again I get into a lot of trouble to making videos with my friends but  one of those things that I get in trouble for is going onto rooftops with my friends and parkour, take pictures, and graffiti. As I was spotting out the place I found some exits that we could go to if we got caught.

Bet this is gonna be great for us. I'll give them a call once I'm done spotting the place out.

After i was done spotting I got kinda hungry and checked my phone.

Damn it's already 22:26 (10:26 pm) shit ight better get something before the stores close.

I then found another corner store and bought a sandwich, water, and some chips. As I headed out I found a park and a bench I decided to sit down there and hit up my friends.

"Ayo, Samantha, Julia, Dexter, so like new town right?" I asked
"Yea?" They all said
"So what y'all think about heading out tomorrow and meeting up because like I found some places we can go rootoping." I said exited
"Oh shit, bet!" Dexter said exited
"Oh hell yeah the fuck!" Julia Said asp exited
"Ight I'm there." Samantha Said going with the flow when she really was happy about it
"Ight bet, but we all need to spot not just me ight?"
"Ight" they all say.
"How bout 13:00 (1:00pm)?" I asked
"Bet." They all say
"Ight bet cya tomorrow I'll send y'all the place where we gonna meet." I said
"Ight." They all say

As I hung up on them and finished my food. While sending them the parks address.

Shit it's 23:45 (11:45pm) better head home got a big day tomorrow heh.

I start to head home listening to music and humming.

I finally arrived home at 00:12 (12:12 am). Open the door as quietly as I could while taking off my shoes.

Mei and mom are probably asleep which is good.

I stayed up to do home work. I then hear the door open and I walk there.

"Athena, why are you home so late?" I ask
"Sh-shit Mei, you scared me, plus I already said I was going to be home late. Also, why are you awake you should be asleep." Athena Said
"I was doing home work." I say
Oh ok." Athena asked
"Come on let's go to sleep." I said
"Ok, well just go to sleep imma go and take a bath." Athena Said
"Ok." I said

As Athena went into the bathroom I was in the room trying to sleep but couldn't.

As i got out of the shower I change and go into the room.

"Mei?" I asked
"Yes?" Mei Said
"I'm going to most likely be home late again so just lock the door when you get home because my mom is going on business trip tomorrow." I said
"Okay, where are you going?" Mei asks
"Just somewhere with some friends." I say
"Ok." She says
"Good night, Mei." I say
"Good night, Athena." Mei says

The whole school day was the same. BORING. Anyways at least I get to hang with the gang again.

"Yo, Athena." Avery said
"Aye, what's up?" I asked
"You wanna hang today?" Avery asks
"Oooo, sorry man but I got plans today, maybe next time?" I asked
"Aww, okay cya!" Avery said With a somewhat sad tone
"Cya." I say

"Aye!" I say waking to them
"Yo what's up?" My friends say
"Y'all ready?" I ask
"Hell yeah!" They say walking to me
"Also you wanna put your shit in my car before we head out?" Dexter asked
"Yeah." I say

After I put my stuff away we headed out and started to spot the places out and try to find out more exits along the way because we'd most likely start to go at 17:00 (5:00pm). After we spotted for 2 hours we head out and grab something to eat before heading back the Dexters car and grabbing what we needed to go rooftoping.

We head out to Dexters car to get a change of clothes and headed out. We were all wearing a black hoodie with black pants and shoes with masks hidden in our pockets until we got into the building. We needed to hid our faces just to be safe, we wouldn't really wear masks because we knew the places where we'd go too but because this was a new place we just took the safe route.

We got into the roof and started to take pictures and take videos of us in masks and the sunset it was beautiful but sadly one of the guards saw us so we had to go.

"HEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? GET DOWN!" Guard one said
"Head out!" I say grabbing our things and running

We all nodded and grabbed our things getting out of there fast.

"HEY GET BACK HERE!" Guard one said
"Sorry, but we gotta go haha." Julia said

We all went through a series of piles, walls, roofs, and glass, we were almost out of breath. Was we were almost home free Guard one was still behind us and another Guard showed up in front of us so we had to go a different route. It took about 5 mins too get both of them off our tails. We got down and ran in a near by store. Good thing we had our masks on.

"Aye- What- do- you guys- want to do now?" I asked out of breath while taking off my mask
"Let's- just- stay- here- to catch- our breath- then head out." Said Dexter also taking off his mask and trying to catch his breath
"Ight." We all say out of breath

Damn looks like we need to know our surroundings more.

"Ight, let's head out" I say.

They all just nod. As we took off our hoodies and headed out to Dexters car.

"Aye, you guys hungry?" Julia asked
"Yeah." We all say
"Ight let's get food." Dexter Said

As we went to a restaurant we talk about how we should do it again and maybe we could do graffiti on the walls next time. Once we finished they dropped me off near my apartment and I headed into the apartment.

Good thing it's only 22:00 (10:00pm) this time.

"Welcome back Athena." Mei Said
"Oh hi. Did you cook?" I asked
"No, I was about too." Mei Said
"Oh ok, well I'll cook just go back to the room and do your own thing." I said
"Okay, thanks." Mei Said
"Mhm." I said
