Chapter 14

As I walk into the cafe I see Dexter sitting down.

"So what did you want to talk about?" Dexter asked while I was sitting down
"It's about Mei." I say
"Ohhhh, your girlfriend right?" Dexter asked somewhat sad
"Yeah, you still jealous?" I ask
"No, just surprised that you are dating her." Said Dexter
"Yeah yeah. Anyways, basically what happened was..." I say the whole story
"Damn, you okay?" Dexter asked in a concerned tone
"Yeah, but I need you to see if that photo was photoshopped because I've never seen that girl in my life." I say pissed
"Ok, I'll see what I can do. Just get me the photo digitally and I'll see what I can do. But while your doing that I'll try to see if I can ask about that girl at the store she printed the photo from." Dexter Said while taking a sip out of his cup of tea
"Ok, thanks. I have to go I need to get ready for tomorrow." I say standing up from my set
"Want me to drive you home?" Dexter asked standing up from his set as well
"That'd be nice." I say
"Ok well let's go." Dexter Said heading out the door as I followed.

After Dexter dropped me off I head to me and Meis room. I walk into the room quietly to see Mei sound asleep peacefully and couldn't help but smile. I head to my desk and grab my laptop, some clothes, and my bag. I quietly walk out of the room and place my thing into my school bag. Taking one last look at the girl who I love with all my heart.

Looks like I have to get ready now, sleep, wake up early, get the hard drive, then get to school.

After I pack my thing I get on the couch and doze of into dream land.

The next morning I wake up and start to head to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. After i was done I make breakfast for Mei and I even though I knew she was still asleep. After I finished cooking I plate both plates and wrap Meis plate and write a note. 'Love you, have a good day.

I finished my food and poke my head into our room to see a peaceful Mei asleep.
"I love you, Mei." I say looking at her one last time then closed the door and head to Sanchez Tech.

Once Athena left it broke my heart even more.

Should I really believe 3 women and a photo over my own girlfriend?

As my thoughts raised through my mind I walked into the empty bedroom. I try to sleep but I couldn't. I hear faint footsteps heading to the room. I start to pretend to sleep as I saw Athena grab her laptop, some clothes, and her bag. She looks at me for one last time with those loving eyes and leave the room.

Why did she leave?

After a few minutes passed and I get up to walk to the leaving room to see Athena peaceful asleep on the couch with her things on the floor. It hurt me that she want sleeping with me but I did say to give me space.

I guess she's just giving me space.

I walk into our room and fall asleep. To wake up to an empty cold bed and home with breakfast made for me with a note written on the top. 'Love you, have a good day

I guess she left early...

After I ate my breakfast I get ready for school.

"Welcome to Sanchez Tech, how may I help you?" Asked a receptionist
"Hi, I'm the daughter of Lena Sanchez." I say
"Oh, you must be Athena. Nice to meet you, is there something you need?" Asked the receptionist
"Yeah, I need a hard drive. Is there anyway that I can get one? I ran out." I say scratching the back of my head
"Ah, Yes please follow me." Said the receptionist walking to another part of the building as I follow behind her
"Here you go." Said the receptionist handing me the hard drive
"Thank you so much, have a good day." I say walking back to the lobby
"Yeah it's no problem, you too." Said the receptionist shooting me a smile and heading back to her desk

As I walk to school I call Avery.
"Hey, Avery do you know what class McKenzie Pitt is in?" I asked walking to school
"Yeah, A-3, why?" Asked Avery
"Nothing just wondering thanks." I say to see McKenzie.

Bingo

"Ok see you at school." Said Avery
"Yeah." I say ending the call and follow McKenzie to the bathroom to see that she had her phone with her.

Hehe wow she brought her phone. This will be easy.

After she finished using the bathroom I bump into her taking her phone from her pocket.
"Hey, watch it!" Said McKenzie pissed
"You too." I say as the bell rung

After McKenzie left I look at her phone.

Ha unlocked! Bet, makes my job 100 time easier

I smile to myself and walk into one of the stalls and start to get my things ready. I grabbed my laptop, hard drive, cords, and plug her phone and hard drive into my laptop. I go to her photos and find the photo.

Hahah ahhhhh bingo, your screwed now.

I start to download the pictures to the hard drive. Once it was finished I pack my things and text Dexter to meet me by a the cafe after school. After I finished texting him I start to head to class.

"Athena Sanchez, your late! Mind explaining why?" Asked Mr. Gomez
"Haha, yeah sorry about that i woke up late." I say rubbing my neck
"Next time wake up early, you can go to your set now." Said Mr. Gomez

As I walk to my set I see Mei look at me. I just ignore her and take my set waiting for the day to be over.

I watch Athena walk to her set and turn back to the teacher

Why did she come late? Wait is she really cheating on me?! Is that why she left early and came to school late?

I hold my tears and not think about it.

The same day went by and I headed to A-3 to see McKenzie and the other two.

"You dropped this in the bathroom." I say handing her, her phone
"Thanks..." Said McKenzie
"Mhm." I say walking out with a grin on my face
"Do you think she knows?" Asked Angelina
"Nah, she's too dumb." Said Christina
"Yeah, your right." Said Angelina as the others laughed

The day went by like a flash. Once the day was over headed over to the cafe to meet with Dexter. I came early so I ordered tea with a sandwich. A few more minutes passed and I see Dexter walk-in.

"Over here." I say waving my hand up in the air
"So what did you find?" Dexter asked while sitting down.
