Chapter 23

"Aye Athena you ready?" Dexter asked
"Yeah I'm good." I say coming out with changed changed clothes
"Ight let's see the new board fam." Dexter Said as we walked into the skate park

As we got into the skate park we started to record and do tricks. It was a great skate session until I badly hurt my ankle.

"Ugh shit." I say
"You good?" Samantha Asked
"Yeah but I think I fucked up my ankle, fuckkkk." I say getting up from the ground
"Rip well let's go home." Dexter Said
"Yeah." I say

Once we got all of our things we headed to my place.

"Ight here." Dexter Said
"Thanks fam." I say grabbing my things
"You need help?" Samantha Asked
"Nah, See ya" I say getting out of the car
"See ya." They both say as the car speed off

Huh wonder how Julia is doing with Avery... well I guess I have an excuse to stay home and to study for finals. Oh shit I still need to go record... then plan tour... then I get to see him. I miss you... dad.

"I'm home." I say taking off my shoes
"Hey babe." Mei Said with a smile
"Hey, you eat?" I ask pulling her close
"Yeah, did you?" Mei asked
"Yeah." I say giving her a kiss
"Good. Also, your early what's up?" Mei asked
"Oh I hurt my ankle haha." I say rubbing the back of my neck
"Geez you get hurt so much." Mei Said with sadness in her eyes
"Yeah don't worry about me. Anyways, I need to plan some stuff out and it's be nice if I had your company." I say with a smile
"Of course babe." Mei Said giving me a kiss

"So Avery tell me about yourself." I Asked as we sat down on a park bench
"Well I like art, spending time with friends, not being in school, clothes, and anything new/ exiting. I'm also a very caring person, will always be there for my friends, and love animals. Oh yeah I'm also bi." Avery said with a smile

Oh shit maybe I have a chance?

"Oh that's nice." I say
"Yeah, what about you, Julia?" Avery asked
"Oh well, I guess you can call me "edge", I Love to fuck around with the gang, animals, and music. I'm also the type of person who cares for their friends a lot and if you hurt them I won't hesitate to hurt you. I'm also the type of person to seem mean but isn't and I'm gay also." I say with a smile
"Ohhh that's great! What do you and your gang do?" Avery asked
"Well we have an Instagram and a YouTube channel if you want to see the other things we do and the user is the same for both 'IV' but we usually just do rooftoping, parkour, graffiti, and skate." I say
"Oh do you think you could take me rooftoping?" Avery asked
"Hmmm, yeah I mean we could do it now." I say
"Wait, reall?!" Avery exclaimed jumping off the set making people look at us
"Haha yeah I can." I say getting up as well
"That's great let's go!" Avery said
"Haha ok ok." I say leading her to a building

"Excuse me can we get roof access?" I asked the receptionist
"Yes, you can." receptionist said
"Ok thank you." I say turning back the Avery
"Ok we've got the green light." I say
"Yay! Also, do you guys always ask for roof access whenever your rooftoping?" Avery asked following Julia
"Um no not all the time because we parkour on top of the buildings but because it's just me and you I don't want you to get in trouble." I say walking up the stairs
"Oh ok I see." Avery said following me
"Mhm." I say

After we walked the excruciating stairs we finally made it to the top.

"We're here." I say slightly out of breath
"Finally!" Avery said breathing heavily
"Haha Yup. Anyways, it was worth the trouble." I say looking into the sunset
"Hmm? Yeah it was." Avery said looking into the sun set with me
"So, do you want to take pictures?" I ask
"Oh hell yeah!" Avery said
"Haha, ok I'll use my phone just go and do some poses." I say

As the sun was setting and the cool air blow through our face and hair Avery just seemed to look more and more beautiful than ever.

Holy shit I think i just truned more gay.

"Ok I think that enough." Avery said waking up to Julia who had a slight tint of red blush
"Here you go." Julia Said handing her phone to Avery
"Whoa! These are really good quality! Your hella good!" Avery said
"Oh, haha thanks." I say rubbing the back of my neck
"Do you have an actual camera?" Avery asked
"Hm? Oh yeah, of course I do haha. I am the one who many take the picture and record the videos." I say
"Do you think you could take more pictures of some people because my sister owns a clothing brand and she needs a photographer." Avery said
"Um, yeah! Sure why not, ahah. When do you need me though?" I ask
"Well maybe sometime this week?" Avery said
"Ok just text me when and where and I'll be there. Might bring Athena too she's pretty good at taking pictures too but she doesn't like do show anyone." I say
"Oh really?! She never told me." Avery said with a slight tint of sadness in her eyes
"Oh that's because she doesn't like talking about it because she manly gives me all the credit unless if it's a really good photo that she likes." I say sending Avery the pictures
"Wow, I have to make her take pictures of me." Avery said with a spark of determination in her eyes
"Haha yeah good luck with that." I say
"Why do you say that?" Avery asked
"Well it's because she hates taking pictures for others but she's good at it, Athena is sometimes a mystery. She hides behind a mask, and hides all her talents and skills. She hates showing them." I say

*Flashback*

"Athena why don't you like to show or tell others your talents/skills?" I ask
"Ha, I don't have talents nor skill in anything. I'm trash at everything." Athena Said taking pictures of dead grass
"But you do! Why don't you like to show them?!" I asked
"I-I don't know... maybe it's because my parents never recognized me in any of my achievements..." Athena Said looking sad
"O-Oh, I-I'm Sorry." I say looking down at the ground
"Hey, don't be sorry. Haha, it's ok stupid, come on let's go get ice cream it's way too fucking hot." Athena Said walking out of the field of dead grass
"Ok, on you though!" I say following Athena
"Haha, yeah yeah." Athena Said as I caught up with her

*End of flashback*

"Anyways, it's getting dark. I'll walk you home." I say
"Ok, thanks!" Avery said
"Yeah, anytime." I say smiling
