"Hey Mei, you ready?" Athena asked
"Yeah, Coming." I Said
"So how do I look?" I ask wearing one of Athena's shirts blue skinny jeans and grey shoes with my hair down
"You look amazing. But is that my t-shirt?" Athena asked
"Yeah, it fits surprisingly, because you know your short." I say smirking
"Yeah yeah whatever your still a bottom." Athena Said getting up from the couch
"You are too." I say following her
"Haha, no I'm a switch." Athena Said opening the door for us
"Yeah and same here." I say walking through the door
"Yeah, well your more bottom then me." Athena Said locking the door
"Whatever." I say
We step into the bus and Athena pays for our fee and we sit down. As we were riding the bus I noticed that Athena was texting another person while smiling a lot. Which kinda annoyed me.
"Athena, who are you texting?" I ask
"You'll meet him soon." Athena Said still texting that male
"Ok." I say annoyed
Better not actually be cheating on me.
An hour passed and we finally reached out destination to the next town over.
How far is this dude?!
We continue to walk for 10 minutes until we reached a house.
"We're here." Athena Said knocking on the door
"Aye, what's up?" A tall light skin with black hair Said pulling Athena into a hug
"Nothing much." Athena Said returning the hug
"Anyways, this is my girlfriend Mei, you know the one I was talkin' about." Athena Said grabbing me by the waist and pulling me close
"Oh great! It's nice to meet you Mei, Athena talks about you a lot. She really loves you, haha." The male Said
"ANYWAYS! Mei this is Vincent. Vincent Rodriguez. His my music producer/manager. I record at home but this is where the real magic happens so yeah." Athena Said
"Nice to meet you Vincent, I'm guessing this is the person who you were texting on the bus ride?" I ask
"Yup." Athena Said
"Anyways, please come in." Vincent Said showing us to the kitchen
"What do you guys want to drink?" Vincent Asked
"What do you have?" Athena asked
"Anything from water, juice, tea, soda, and alcohol." Vincent Said
"I'll take an ice tea and water." Athena Said
"Ok, how about you Mei?" Vincent Asked
"I'll take an ice tea too." I say
"Ok. Well Athena go show her the studio while I get your drinks ok?" Vincent Said
"Way ahead of you." Athena Said dragging me to the backyard
"Welcome to the studio. In front of you you can see where we mix the beats and vocals. To the right is the booth where I do vocals. To the left the drums that Vincent plays. The couch right in front of the drums and in front of the couch that's where the basses, guitars, amps, cords, strings and picks are. So make your self at home." Athena Said
"Wow, how much is this worth?" I ask
"I don't know. I helped Vincent with the couch, basses, and guitar stuff. We're going to be upgrading soon though." Athena Said
"Oh ok." I say
"Sorry if I made you jealous when I was texting him." Athena Said sitting on the couch
"Oh no, it's ok." I say smiling
"Ok, here's your guys iced tea and your water." Vincent Said
"Thanks." We both say
"No problem." Vincent Said drinking a soda
"Ok, Athena before we start how's your anxiety? You break down yet?" Vincent Said
"Nah, not yet surprising, almost though." Athena Said taking a sip from her iced tea
"When was that?" I asked concerned
"Oh, when you met my dad." Athena Said
"Oh ok." I say
"How's your stress levels?" Vincent Asked
"There's ight. But let's start with the two songs with lyrics then move on to the two minimal ones then we can do the one with no lyrics." Athena Said
"Ok yeah we can do that. Did you make the tracks for the other four?" Vincent Asked
"Yeah." Athena Said giving him a hard drive
"Ok great, I'll put the drums in where they are needed ok?" Vincent Said plug-ins in the hard drive
"Yuh." Athena Said
"Mei this might take a long time so just sit back and relax while you hear what I worked on that night when you walking into me singing." Athena Said walking into the booth
"Ok." I say exited
As the minutes turning into hours the only things I could hear were my girlfriends voice, guitars, bass lines, and passion with emotion.
Wow she's really good I can't believe she made this all on her own. And I can't believe I was oblivious to her doing this. She's very creative artistically and musically. I'm very lucky... for now at least... it'll hurt me more than it'll hurt you, Athena. Just know that I'll always love you with all my heart. You are the best thing that ever came into my life. You turned my hellish life into a fun and colorful life without you knowing it. I'm sorry that it'll end this way but it's for the best.
"And that's a wrap!" Vincent Said as they finished recording the last song which was only a bass, guitar, and drums
"Let's go!" Athena Said
"Haha, ok so now about tour. You said that your going when your break starts right?" Vincent Asked
"Yup, three months." Athena Said
"Ok, well choose your songs and how many people are coming with you. I'll handle the rest ok?" Vincent Said
"Ok. Well, it's me, you, and Mei who are coming." Athena Said
"Ok great, I'll get us tickets." Vincent Said
"Ight well, tell me when your done I'll just send you the song list. And we'll release the new album after tour." Athena Said sitting next to me on the couch
"Ok." Vincent Said
Once they were both done doing the arrangements for tour. Athena and I headed back home while Vincent said he would edit the songs and send them over when done.
"Hey want to go on a min date right now?" Athena asked
"Sure. Where too?" I ask
"Let's just get some food then home, that cool with you?" Athena asked
"Of course it is. Just time with you is nice." I say smiling
"Heh, thanks." Athena Said giving me a kiss on the cheek as I blushed
