Chapter 39

Sophomore year
"Babe, wake up," I say shaking Athena
"Mmmm," Athena said
"Happy one year anniversary!" I say
"Uhh, huh?... OH, um happy one year babe," Athena said
"Hehe, come on we gotta get ready for school," I say
"Ugh, ok," Athena said getting up
After getting ready Athena waits for me, in the living room as I got her, her gift.
"Athena!" I say
"Mmm, I'm in the living room!" Athena said on her phone

While she was on her phone I took this chance to put her neckless around her neck while she wasn't paying attention and gave her a kiss on the neck.

"Yo, what's this?" Athena asked
"It's your present," I say kissing her
"You didn't have too," Athena said breaking the kiss and looking at the silver dragon
"Nah, I had too," I say
"Thanks though babe, you'll get yours soon, meet me after school ok?" Athena said
"Ugh, you and your surprises and ok," I say
"Haha, you love my surprises," Athena said
"Yup," I say

After we got ready for school we start to walk to school talking about what we're going to do for the school day.

"MEI!" A voice said
"Ah, shit here we go again," Athena said
"Layla, how are you?" I ask
"I'm doing great! How are you?" Layla asked
"I'm doing good, do you need something?" I ask
"No, I just wanted to see how you were doing. Anyways, see you at lunch," Layla said walking off
"I honestly don't know why you even stick with her or what the hell you see in her," Athena said
"Honestly same," I say
"Hahaha, mood. Anyways, I'll see you after school," Athena said walking to math
"Yeah," I say walking to my class

Wonder what we're going to do after school...

"Athena!" Avery said
"Aye, what's up?" Athena asked
"Nothing much, how are you and the ice queen?" Avery asked
"We're good, one year," Athena said
"Oh, nice!" Avery said
"Yup, how are you and Julia?" Athena asked
"We're doing great," Avery said
"That's good, two months in right?" Athena asked
"Yup," Avery said
"Nice," Athena said
"Yup, what did you get Mei?" Avery asked
"I got her a ring and I'm gonna take her graffitiing probably," Athena said
"Oh, nice you going to take her where you took me?" Avery asked
"Probably not but I might take her somewhere, where there's barely any people but you can still see the tags," Athena said
"Ah ok, that's cool," Avery said
"Yup," Athena said

"Mei," Layla said
"Yeah?" I asked
"Is there anything you're doing today?" Layla asked
"Yeah," I say
"Oh? And where that?" Layla asked
"Somewhere with Athena," I say
"Oh ok, still with her huh?" Layla asked
"Yup, one year," Mei said
"Oh, congratulations," Layla said with the saltiness in her voice
"Thanks," I say

"One year huh? Well, I'm sorry Mei that it'll end in two months or so. But you Athena, I'll ruin your career and blackmail the shit out of you," Layla said calling the man in the hood
"Meet me at my house after school, I need the information today, can you do that for me?" Layla asked
"Yup, see ya," the man said ending the call
"Yup, goodbye Athena and hello Mei," Layla said smiling mantically

"I am so so so sorry Athena, I'll make it up to you I swear... but how?..." The man said

"You ready?" Athena asked
"Yup, where we going?" I ask
"You'll see, come on," Athena said

We both walked to the bus station and took the bus to another part of town. This part of town was a little less populated than where we lived but it was still nice. Athena then lead me to a bunch of trains that were stopped with no conductor, some had graffiti on them some had none.

"What's this place called?" I ask
"I honestly don't know, all I know is that these trains still work it's just right now they aren't transporting anything which is a plus for us," Athena said taking off her bag
"Wear this," Athena said handing me a black bandana
"Ok," I said putting it on
"Your, smart so I think you know where this date is going," Athena said putting on hers
"Yup," I say
"Good, what you making?" Athena asked
"A sunflower," I say
"Nice!" Athena said giving me spray paint
"Yup, what are you making?" I ask shaking the can
"Probably just going to make a bear," Athena said getting her colors
"Oh, nice," I say starting
"Yup," Athena said following me

We both start graffitiing separate trains, I made a sunflower field while Athena made a bear that looked burnt and had a chain having the words 'Pyro' on it.

"And done, ugh, damn that took longer than expected," Athena said
"Yup and wow yours looks really good," I say
"Thanks, yous too babe," Athena said
"Eh, it's okay, yours is better though," I say
"Nope, yours still looks good babe, now come on let's go get something to eat so we can still catch the sunset," Athena said
"Ok babe," I say

We both take off our bandanas and pack up the spray paint and go to a nearby cafe.

"Here," The man in the hood said giving Layla a folder
"Thank you," Layla said
"What are you even going to do with all the info? It's not like it's going to ruin her," The man in the hood said
"True, but if I know this stuff about her I can add fails accusations, release it, and I have a photo of her without her mask on-OH look at this photo you took," Layla said
"Oh yeah... those photos..." The man in the hood said ashamed
"You act like you know who Athena is, anyways, these photos are great! It actually shows Athena taking off her mask," Layla said
"Yeah... anyway, if that's all give me my money," The man in the hood said
"Of course here," Layla said throwing the man 100K
"Thanks, kid, see ya," The man said
"Yup, bye~," Layla said

"Looks beautiful huh?" Athena asked
"Yeah..." I say looking at the grey-ish blue sky with an orange and yellow tint finding away as Athens hugged me from behind
"Heh, hey Mei..." Athena said
"Yeah?" I ask
"Happy one year," Athena said putting a silver and blue sapphire ring with blue sapphires around the whole ring on my middle finger
"You didn't have too," I say looking at the ring
"Nope, had too," Athena said
"I am so lucky," I say
"Maybe but I feel luckier," Athena said
"How?" I ask
"Well, it seemed like I had no chance of getting you plus who would even date me?" Athena asked
"I, and true but I felt like I had no chance," I said
"Heh, well that makes the two of us," Athena said
"Yup," I say turning around to kiss her
"Heh, let's go home," Athena said
"Yeah," I say
