13- Jesse's Help

    I ended up driving to jesses place the day after I dropped Chloe off. I needed to know more about this Chicago person. I walk up to jesses door and knocked.
    "Look who it is!" Jesse said with a boyish smile on his face.
    "We need to talk." I say seriously while walking into his dorm.
    "I already told you, I won't stop until you see Rocky." Jesse said referring to our movie marathons witch I hate.
"That's not what I meant." I say while crossing my arms. "I need you to tell me about Chicago and your last mission with him."
"I can't do that." Jesse said simply.
"Jesse-" I tried reasoning with him but he cut me off.
"I was very clear with you that day." Jesse said now crossing his arms.
"You don't want Josh to know you're here, do you?" I ask with a smirk.
"Are you threatening me?" Jesse asked looking offended.
I stare at him a moment with a blank expression before I continue.
"No, I wouldn't do that to you." I say genuinely. "But I really need this, Jesse. In two days I have to meet Josh to give him news on the case. I wasted my opportunity to go to casements house yesterday."
"Wait, you met Carmen yesterday?" Jesse asked slightly shocked at the news.
     "Yes, I was with Chloe, and then I went to leave her at her house and Carmen was there." I say explaining the current situation.
     "And she invited you into her house and you said no? Why?" Jesse asked.
     "I... I don't know." I said honestly.
     "But I know." Jesse said confidently. "You like Chloe, and your afraid to approach Carmen because the faster you gain information the sooner you'll leave her."
     "Dude, listen, I don't have time to talk about feelings, I already have a fucking mess in my mind." I say rather annoyed. "If your going to help me, then it's fine, but if not, just tell me and I'll find information about him on my own."
     "Fine, I'll give you information about him." Jesse eventually said after a moment of consideration.
     "Seriously?" I asked rather shocked that he would give me any information.
     "Seriously, but only information about him." Jesse said sternly. "If you wanna know about my mission you should fix that disaster that you have"
     Jesse then goes towards the door to close it so no one could overhear our conversation. He then turns back to me.
     "Are you sure about this?" Jesse asked furrowing his eyebrows.

     "Trust me, everything is going well." I say to Jesse trying to reassure him.
     "If you say so." He said doubtfully.
