1. Throughout the beginning of the story the idea I had while writing Rose was that she was in different tones of purple, light purple being one of her favorites. Almost signifying her innocents, until the memory erasing spell when she goes out during the apocalypse with Michael, then her outfits go to black and dark shades of red.
-this was also planned with the fact that in the sanctuary they have purples and grays.
2. I didn't not intend for there to be a relationship between John Henry and Rose, but after write a few of their interactions, it seemed like something that would be possible.
3. The only thing that was really planned when I started writing was the relationship between Rose and Michael.
-originally I had a whole different ending planned for the two of them and Rose wasn't going to end up with John Henry.
4. The original plan was to have Rose burned at the stake and brought back as an android, like Mead was.
