Cordelia sits on the edge of the bed in Misty's cabin, taking very deep breaths, clearly very weak and tired. "I went back to the house. I saw them," she shakes her head, "but I couldn't feel them. I can't feel their souls, there was nothing. I couldn't bring them back." Cordelia begins to cry and looks over to Myrtle, "why couldn't I bring them back?" She hugs Myrtle.
"Oh, shit." Madison whispers.
I look over to her, "What?"
"When we went to the house where Michael was born, we found out he could do this thing. After he kills someone, he can... erase their soul. He can, like, burn their souls so there's nothing left. They don't go anywhere, they're not ghosts, they're just... gone."
Cordelia looks over to me, "did you know about this?"
I nod and lower my head, "yes... I did."
"How?" Madison shakes her head.
"I went to the house before you and Chablis went."
"Why did no one remember you?"
"I used a memory spell on the ghosts in the house."
While Madison and I are focused on each other, Cordelia walks over and slaps both of us. Madison and I grab our cheeks as Cordelia yells at us through her tears, "how could you keep this from me? You both put all of us in danger!"
"I told you he was the Antichrist!" Madison shouts back, "what more did you need to know? Plus shouldn't his girlfriend be responsible for telling you everything about him?!"
"Rose, hasn't been with us long enough to tell me everything about Michael, you have, Madison!"
"This will do no good." Myrtle stands and steps between Cordelia and Madison. "We can't turn on each other now."
I nod, "she's right. It's what Micahel wants. It's what he needs."
"None of this will bring back our girls." Myrtle looks to Cordelia, "they're gone, Delia."
Cordelia begins to sob again and falls to the ground, "no. No, please, there must be something we can do."
"Maybe there is."
Myrtle looks over to me and I nod. "She's right." I look over to Mallory, "but it's not going to be fun."
Once Cordelia has calmed down, Myrtle looks through some of the books in the cabin, finding the spell she had thought of before, "Tempus Infinituum." She turns to the girls, who are sitting down, "we don't teach it to our students and I didn't think the Warlocks did either." she looks over to me.
"They don't." I shake my head, "but when you're in a school full of boys, you tend to study as much as you can to avoid them."
"What do you know about it?"
"It's considered a myth. There has never been a confirmed case of a witch or warlock who has it."
Cordelia looks over to Mallory, "A girl imbued with this gift is said to have the power to change past events, alter history."
Madison shakes her head, "Are you saying this bitch can travel through time?"
Myrtle shrugs, "it sounds preposterous, I know. I myself dismissed it as mere legend until our young Supreme found a road-killed deer and did not merely bring it back to life, she reversed the flow of time returning it to its youth."
"If you were able to do that, you can go back and save our coven." Cordelia nods.
Mallory nods, "I'd do anything to bring back our sisters."
"There's a catch." Myrtle reads over the book, "not only are there no documented cases of a witch successfully executing this power, but the tales of those who tried all end in death."
I step forward, "All of those witches tried to execute the power alone. I know this is going to sound crazy, but what if it can't be done alone?"
"What do you mean, dear?"
"I mean, what if someone has to help Mallory, loan her their powers while she's there."
"But that would mean, two witches would have to be imbued with this gift."
"Not necessarily." I shake my head, "but it would have to be someone powerful."
Madison scoffs, "Well, we can cut that idea. The only one who would be strong enough is Cordelia and as Mallory grows she fades. No one else could help her."
"Not necessarily," Myrtle looks down to Mallory, "I think there is someone else who could help her."
"Who?" Madison chuckles, "you?"
"No, not myself." Myrtle looks back to me, "but it may be a conflict of interest."
