Chapter 4

And that's how it starts

Nick's pov

I woke up and saw y/n sleeping So i decided to wake her up so we can go downstairs together. It really isn't a big deal for yesterday but I don't understand why the others shouldn't know. I trust Charli so I will just stick to the plan.
"hey buddy wake up" I said as y/n opened her eyes and turned around.
" why did you wake me up?" she said in a sleepy voice. I laughed
"everyone is already up and we need to get down together. Remember?" I said
"ohhh yeah let me get ready and let's go downstairs" she said and got up walking towards the bathroom. Before she left I grabbed her wrist pulling her closer and I gave her one of my hoodies to put on. She got the hint and took it and went to the bathroom. If we had to act it had to be realistic.
After she went out I opened the door. I put my arm around her making her move closer to me as we were going downstairs. We went to the kitchen were everyone turn around and looked at us and we just smiled.
They were all had shocked faces and me, y/n and Charli wanted to laugh so bad but kept serious. Then Charli made us breakfast and we all talked about random shit and then again it all came to that one question. "so?" Tony said and looked at me. I was sitting beside y/n with my arm on her waist. We both didn't care. "what?" I asked as I saw y/n getting anxious. "are you guys sure you are not dating.? Cause it seems like you are a thing" Tony continues. "don't worry let me handle it and just go with what I'm saying" I whispered to y/n and she smiled "I don't know you tell me" I said to Tony. They all looked at us like they've seen a ghost except from Charli. "idk if I should believe you" Calvin said.
"oh you don't have to" y/n spoke before me.
"what about we have a movie night?" kouvr said changing the subject and they all nodded. Ryland seems a little off. He has no expression in his face.. Like he is numb.

We were watching the notebook and me and y/n had to cuddle but it was actually very nice. When the movie ended y/n went upstairs quickly. She seemed sceptical. Everyone stared at me when she left.
" I'm going to see what's going on" I said and excused myself. As I was walking up I saw a tiktok I uploaded from later and the plan was really working. I went to our room. y/n was on the couch staring at the ceiling. I walked and sat on the couch beside her making her make contact with me.

Y/n's pov

After was Calvin said this morning I was really triggered. I had so many questions like : what if we mess up? What if they want us to prove it somehow? I didn't even have my first kiss yet. I had ran upstairs to mine and Nick's room and I was on the couch thinking all these stuff. Shortly after I was making eye contact with nick.
"what's wrong?" he said worried. I told him everything cause I couldn't hold it.
"aww don't worry about it just close your eyes" he said and so I did. And then the next thing came by surprise. His lips were on mine as he kissed me and then pulled away.
"see it wasn't that bad you are a good kisser" he said and I laughed
" the is no feelings in this kiss tho" I said and we both agree.
"hey now that I think about it you stole my first kiss how dare you" I said playfully as he laughed.
Then it hit me. I really love Ryland and nick is just helping me. I sighed and told him about my feelings for Ryland and stuff and he seemed very understanding. Then we decided to go downstairs and there i saw it before we went down the stairs. I saw Ryland kissing Mia. I just broke down and went to my room and shortly after nick behind me. Comforting me.

Ryland's pov

I really like y/n but seeing her today with nick just made me just stop trying to make her notice me. I wanted to get her off my mind. When the first movie ended she and nick went upstairs. Great now they are going to do stuff I thought. I had to get her out of my mind so I was with Mia. She was on my lap and as I heard the door from upstairs and saw them coming i didn't know what to do so I kissed Mia and she kissed back. Then I saw y/n running back to her room with nick. Why did I do that? Now Mia will think I like her and I ruined my chances completely. I decided to go upstairs to see if they needed anything and to check on y/n.

Y/n's pov

Nick was cuddling me and I was finally calm. We were sitting opposite each other and my mind needed to be cleared off. I heard footsteps coming towards our room and I heard someone at the door. While they person opened the door i did what I never expected. I wrapped my arms around Nick's neck and I kissed him. He got the hint that someone walked in and he kissed back and then we pulled away. We saw someone at the door. It was him. It was Ryland storms just standing there and then he walked out and closed the door.

Ryland's pov :

I walked in and saw that y/n kissed nick and short after he did too. I saw her teary eyes as she pulled away. I fucked up. Why did I even catch feelings for her. I got my heart broken again and she seemed like she did too.
