when I left,
I tried so hard to leave behind
the demons that ran after me
the entities that tried to own me
I sprinted, and I lost everything
I lost track of time
I forgot to take
some memories with me
and the farther I got
emptiness became me
the faster I was
oblivion consumed me
with every step I take
I lose a fight
I left my darkness
but it cost me my light
