when it ends - un

Stories are often commenced with once upon a times or in a far far away lands, but the one with us in it began with an innocent look shared by you and me, followed with a reserved smile that hinted a thousand more to come in the following years.

It was almost a fairytale.

Too good to be true. And so it was. Like all the other stories in the books.

But there is one thing that made our story different from the storybooks.

We did not have the clichéd happily ever after.

I may have been a damsel in chaotic distress, but you weren't a prince noble enough to come back if you decide to leave.

And you left me. Here. In a tower with no doors and windows.

In a prison we both built. I had the sticks, and you threw the stones.

Who is to be blamed? The witches, evil queens, horrible stepmothers or the poison that grew between us?

A ten thousand reads update. Thank you.
