7 - Sleeping With You

It was around 12 AM, and Dahyun couldn't sleep no matter how hard she tried. Letting out an exasperated sigh as she flipped over once again, no sleeping position seemed to work tonight, even though she was exhausted her brain just wouldn't calm down.

Sitting up she rested her chin on her knees. She could try to go to Sana's room, like she had done lots of times before. But for some odd reason sleeping with her didn't appeal to Dahyun as much as it did before.

She groaned, "What is wrong with me tonight." She smacked the side of her head, trying to figure out the reasons for her misfortunes this night. If she didn't want to sleep with Sana then who did she? Momo? Nayeon?

Then it hit her, jumping out of her bed she made her way to Mina's room.

But when she reached her wanted destination her hand wavered in front of the door. Biting her lip, she debated whether this was a good idea or not. She and Mina had never really gotten as close as some of the members. Her loud, energetic persona didn't quite match with Mina's quiet, introverted one.

Tapping her foot anxiously on the floor she gathered up her courage and softly opened the door, the ataractic aroma filling her lungs as she stepped inside, her tensed nerves somewhat relaxing as she breathed the pleasant redolence.

She made her way to the side of Mina's bed, her serene form smoothly rising and falling with each breath, her face harmonious as she dozed.

Dahyun smiled at the sight, taking in awe at the sleeping girl's features.

Feeling placid now she reached out and gingerly rocked her shoulder, Mina's eyes fluttered open, making her heart beat faster as she gazed up at her.

"Dahyun? What is it?" She asked, her silvery voice causing Dahyun to just look at her, flabbergasted.

"I- um, well, I was wondering if..." She tried speaking, her voice tremulous as her eyes darted around the darkened room, her breath cut short as she gaped at the penguin.

"You want to sleep with me?" Mina asked, raising a brow.

Her eyes widened, "N-no! Well, Yes, but no. But wait." She stuttered, stopping herself before other incomprehensible words came from her dumb mouth.

Mina smiled, she flipped her covers back. Her slender hand lightly grabbing her wrist, guiding her on top of her.

She quickly moved to her side, her heart rate increased even further as she wrapped an arm around her waist, spooning her.

"Sweet dreams," Mina whispered, her warm breath sending tingles down her spine, as she rested her head behind her shoulders.

After a while, once her racing heart evened she finally fell asleep.

"Hey Da-. Eh? Dahyun-ah?" Nayeon peered around Dahyun's room, but the blonde was nowhere to be found.

"Did she already get up?" The eldest asked herself as she closed the door.

"Ah, whatever." She walked away, and to her next destination. Mina's room, for some reason she wasn't awake yet, so she was sent out to wake them up.

Opening the Swan's door she was greeted with an interesting sight, one that made her want to scream out in cuteness.

Instead she quickly shuffled closer, never once had she thought about Mina and Dahyun together but now that she saw it she couldn't deny how adorable they looked.

Dahyun's head was buried into Mina's neck, while Mina had both her arms wrapped tightly around her.

Pulling out her phone she snapped a few pictures before running off to where the other members were.

"Guys, Guys look at this!" She practically screamed, waving her phone around.

"Did you wake Mina and Dahyun up?" Jihyo asked, setting a few empty plates down.

"No but-." She was cut off by Jeongyeon.

"Yah, you had one job." She pointed the spatula she was holding at her.

"If you hadn't rudely interrupted me I would have been able to explain." She smacked her.

"Just tell us so we can eat already." Momo took a sip of her orange juice.

"Okay okay, so when I went to wake Mina up. I saw the cutest thing ever." She pulled her phone out for everyone to see.

"Omo! That's so cute!" Sana squealed, appearing behind Momo.

"Ehh, I cuddle way better than Mina," Momo commented.

"You know, it is pretty cute," Jihyo mentioned, leaning in to get a better look.

"Meh, whatever they still need to wake up." Jeongyeon strode away.

"Oh she totally loves it," Nayeon said, a smirk on her face.
