Mina was a soon to be CEO, having just graduated college alongside her two friends, Sana, and Momo. She was fully prepared for inheriting and leading her family's company to success beyond their beliefs.
"Come on Mina! Let's have some fun before we're all busy again and won't be able to barely see each other anymore." Sana said. She'd been trying to convince her to go on a private cruise somewhere around Alaska, something that she had strictly mentioned that she would not be going on.
"Sana, how many times do I have to tell you that I'm not gonna come? Now that my parents are finally willing to hand the company over I want to make sure I know exactly what I'm going to be running here, which means employees, buildings, stocks, and a crap ton of graphs and statistics." Mina argued, placing her hands over the cool countertop of her new house her parents gifted her as some sort of good luck present as they hand over the business.
"Haven't you already had enough time to do that? And this may be the last time we get to have fun together, just us three." Sana fired back, crossing her arms and giving her a hard stare.
"Look, we can have fun some other time okay, just not now." She ended with a huff, hoping for Sana to just give up and leave, but of course, it wasn't that easy.

"Woohoo! This is gonna be great!" Sana cheered, skipping around her as she stepped onto the yacht.
"I can't believe you talked me into this." She grumbled, watching carefully as her bag was brought on, resisting the urge to run over and yell at them to be more careful with her stuff, not wanting a single file damaged.
"You just couldn't resist a nice relaxing time with your best buds! Speaking of which, Momo's already inside and speaking of that, that means we can set sail!" Sana giggled, Mina sighed, letting Sana run ahead and into the interior, probably to go explore with Momo.

They had been out at sea for days now, and Mina was practically losing it. Every time she pulled out a few papers and tried to look through them, either the wind blew them away, or a sudden lurch of the ship caused her pen to create an ugly line in her notes, smudging, and making them difficult to read.
Slamming the file shut she stuffed it back into her large black duffle bag, where she had everything else she'd brought, and slung it over her shoulder, walking further into the ship she set it next to a bench, indenting to come back for it. Of course, Sana and Momo unsurprisingly had another day of hangovers and fun planned for them.
"Alright! So, what should we play today?" Sana asked after she dragged her into the main living room like area and sat her down, handing her a half-full glass of wine. She swore they never got tired of drinking, even after days and days of it they still chugged the stuff down.
"How about..." Momo began, and the day soon turned dark as she went through another exhausting day with her friends, playing games, and being dorks.
"Dang it got late so fast, I can't believe it." Sana murmured as they peeked out the window, fresh drops of rain picking up speed as they fell against the sea, ruffling the now dark waves. Attacking the smooth floors with a barrage of hard droplets, creating a very slippery floor and walls.
"Yeah, hm, how bout' we watch a movie or something." Momo waved over to the TV and Sana began nodding, heading off towards the hall that led to their suites.
"I'm gonna go grab some blankets and stuff, I'll be right back," Sana called, already walking down the hall. And that was when Mina remembered her bag, with a gasp she ran out towards the door that led outside, opening it she was immediately soaked as she stepped outside, the wind causing the rain to hit hard against her face, making it difficult to see.
"Shit, hey Momo, I'll be back in a second, I uh, left something." She hastily explained and shut the door behind her, instantly slipping and falling over, the cold seeping into her.
With a few more curses she got up, fighting to stay up with the thick barrage of rain feeling like bullets, the wind howling and seemingly trying to knock her off her feet, and the floor, turning itself into a slip and slide, one foul move and she'd be sliding down the deck, probably hitting her head on something.
As walking got increasingly harder, especially with the hindered vision she chose to go on her knees, shuffling forward and trying not to slide around. Suddenly the boat turned up and she began sliding down, she let out a sharp squeak, grasping onto the railing and waiting for the boat and her now pounding heart to calm down.
She looked up and found her bag in the same place she left it, now dangerously hanging out, barley holding on to the corner of the bench as another lurch in the boat brought it closer to slipping down the deck and into the harsh waves.
Panic bringing her to try running over to it, falling multiple times in the process she kept on running, sliding, falling, over to it, finally reaching it she grabbed onto it with a relived exhale, the part of her getting back in would be easy right?
She told up into a crouch and began shuffling along the floor, her waterlogged clothing and bag making it increasingly difficult as she secured her bag behind her back, carefully sliding back over to the door, and reaching it with a sigh of relief.
Just as she slung her bag to her front the boat lurched, and the bag immediately started sliding down, taking her with it.
With a scream she tried stopping, but her feet only shot out from under her, and she made her fast descent down the ships deck, trying to grab onto the rails but the slippery metal only passing under her fingers, banging her arm on them for the extra measure.
She hissed in pain, but her panic returned as quickly as it left as she was now extremely close to the stern of the ship, and before she knew it her body banged against the rails before they slid on between and she was thrown off the ship.
Her breath was knocked out from her as she collided with the water, her scream dying out in the frigid water.
She floundered around, coughing out water as she surfaced only to be hit with another ferocious wave, dragging her back down under. Mina tried fighting, but she was already taking in swaths of water. Her limbs screamed against the sheer cold, and finally she blacked out.

Mina's eyes fluttered open, her whole body feeling drained and sore, suddenly she noticed the warm hands on her chest, pushing down on her in a rhythmic pattern, a girls blurry face hovering over her.
Suddenly her body lurched, her reflexes kicking in, commanding her to start coughing.
"Ah! There you are, I thought I lost you there." The girl said, flipping her into her warm body as she threw up, sea water dripping from her mouth.
The girl pat her back, rubbing it up and down, telling her she was doing well, reassuring her, and she melted into her, letting the girl guide her somewhere with her arm slung over her shoulder. A hatch being opened and her being set down on something, another swing and the warmth returning to her side, wiping down her body and gently removing her soaked clothes, drying her off.
"There you go, nice and warm," the girl spoke again, and she tried to reply, a groan escaping her lips.
"Shh, we can talk later okay? You need to rest." She murmured, gently rubbing up and down her arm, and Mina finally realized how drained she really was, sinking into the warm covers she let the girls soothing voice and touch lull her asleep.
