9 - Joke

"Guys, listen to this." Dahyun looked around at the members, waving her arms around and gathering their attention.

"Alright, be prepared for the best thing ever." Dahyun continued, an undying smile on her face. Mina smiled, her eyes getting lost in Dahyun's dark chocolatey ones.

"Just say it already," Chaeyoung spoke, her eyes curious.

"Yeah," Tzuyu added, her chin rested on her palm. 

"Okay, Nayeon-unnie how do you count cows?" Dahyun asked, looking anticipatingly at Nayeon, who only shrugged. 

Mina, who wished to be looked at by Dahyun felt a small tug of jealousy.

"How?" Jihyo asked, urging her along.

"With a cow-culator!" Dahyun began laughing, her eyes forming into crescents as she did so. 

She giggled, loving the sight of the Tofu. 

"Really?" Jihyo facepalmed. 

"I'm out." Tzuyu stood up and left.

"Yeah, sorry bro, that joke just wasn't it" Chaeyoung followed Tzuyu away.

"Sorry Dahyun, but that joke was trash," Jeongyeon said, and the rest slightly nodded except for her, who was still smiling.

"No! See Mina liked it!" Dahyun exclaimed, scooting over and throwing an arm over her shoulders, pointing at her face.

Everyone was now leaving, going back to whatever they were doing before.

Dahyun frowned, a bit disappointed at the failure of a joke she thought was hilarious. Mina noticed this and lightly pinched her cheek.

"I thought it was great Dahyunie." Mina softly spoke, making Dahyun smile. 

"Really?" The Tofu asked, leaning in on her.

She nodded, letting Dahyun lay down in her lap as she patted her head.

Dahyun smiled, "You're the best Minari!" She enthusiastically said, her small hands reaching up to cup her blushing face.

"Thanks."
