"Hmm, so you came to ask Legosi about romance?" You questioned, watching her face light up slightly.

"When you put it like that it sounds so embarrassing...but yes. I had a date with Louis-senpai today." You quirked a brow.

"Oh? Do tell." She blushed, but gave you a brief summary of what happened.

"And then he had the nerve to tell me at the end that he's already engaged!" She slammed a fist down onto the table. You gripped the cup lightly to stop it from spilling.

"Did he mention who?" Surprisingly, he never told you about it this whole time.

"Some upper class deer. I think it's an arranged marriage though." You nodded silently. Looks like you have some things to discuss with Louis when you meet up again. The wolfess let out a yawn, reminding you of the time.

"It's late. You should get back to sleep." You said, standing up and heading for the door.

"What about you?" You gave her a smile.

"I'll be fine. I'll just rent a hotel room or something." She opened her mouth to reply, but you beat her to it. "Juno, It's fine. Legosi offered you to sleep here in the first place, right? Who am I to kick you out now of all times?" She blinked, but sighed and put the table away and resumed her position on the mattress. You shut the lights off after a few moments, closing the door behind you. You sighed, rubbing your temple.

"Now what...?" You mumbled.

"Oguma-san, there's someone at the front gate." The deer looked up from the papers strewn about his desk.

"Can you identify them?"

"It's that human." His face remained expressionless as he stood up.

"Let him in."

"Sir?"

"Do I need to repeat myself?" He watched as the servant scurried off to let him in. "[Name]...what are you doing back here I wonder..."

You strolled into the room, one hand in your pocket as you waved at Oguma. He motioned you over to his desk, where a chair was already set on the opposite side.

"What brings you here at such a late hour?" You shrugged as you watched one of his servants pour you both some tea.

"And what made you think you'd find solace here?"

"You wouldn't have let me in otherwise." He hummed, taking a sip from the cup.

"Tell me [Name]. What do you think of my son?" You blinked, observing his face for any passive changes.

"He's built a large amount of walls around himself. There's a lot hidden beneath that cool exterior he likes to put up. And he can be a little tactless when it comes to certain things." You spoke bluntly. Oguma nods, gesturing for one of his servants. You blink as a chess board along with the pieces to play it.

"I see. Tell me, [Name]. Do you know about Louis' past?" He moves one of his pawns.

"Not much, only what he's told me." You reply, moving one of your own pieces.

"He wasn't born into this family." You look up from the board. "While I am the current CEO of the Horns Conglomerate, fate has not been kind to me, as I cannot produce a child naturally.

"So purchasing Louis was your solution?" You spoke, voice sounding loud in the room. He nodded.

"Yes, it's a very closely guarded secret. As one of the leading companies in this town, I'm always calculating."
