Dreaming of Dhez (Eclipse)

Surprised..?

Let me tell you what happened Five months ago...

We stayed in Japan for three days that summer.

On the last day, I visited the garden alone.

Yonghwa is waiting for an important call while Jungshin and Minhyuk is playing online games.

Actually, Im glad they didnt join me.

I want this day to be solemn.

Im saying goodbye to everything.

I have been thinking about it for sometime, I guess its time to let go.

I dreamed about Dhez the night before and in my dream she hugged and kissed me tight.

I brought her home, she turned around and waved at me..

" lee jonghyun, your the best thing that happened to me..."

She smiled and walk inside the house. Then for some unknown reason the house shook and crumbled to the ground.

I was crying and shouting her name.

I tried to look for her but I cant find her then all the flowers from the sakura withered and fell.

I woke up with tears in my eyes.

I can still see her waving goodbye...

I look out the window that night feeling lost just like before.

But when I look up at the stars they are there shining brightly in the sky.

They never lose their light.

Then the wind blow, the trees on the hotels garden sway and flowers fell on the ground.

I sighed.

And I made a decision.

Early the next morning I rent a bike. Im going to the park. I also have some jellies with me.

Its a symbol of my love and acceptance. Im letting her go.

Im in the park by 8am.

I was surprised to find the kid playing there again.

He look up at me and wave.

I waved back. I walk over to him and gave him some of my jelly, even peeling them for him. He smiled at me and continue playing.

I sat under the sakura tree and closed my eyes for the last time.

Dhez.

Im saying goodbye.

My thoughts were interupted by movement nearby. I opened my eyes to see the kid running after a rolling ball.

I stood up. He was going to the open gate right into the street.

Without thinking I ran after him.

I pick him up when I was suddenly push to the side.

I didnt see the car coming and I was surprised. The people help and brought us to the hospital. The guy who pushed me away was taken to the emergency room.

I was talking to the nurse when I heard a voice.

" Im her mother where is she..?" I look and saw Dhez's mother. She seem so worried.

"Wheres my grandson?"

The boy squirmed and shouted, " halmonee! "

She look at me and her eyes widened.

Her gaze shifted from me to the boy.

I bowed slightly, confused. Why is she here. This boy is her grandson?

The doctor came out of the room.

" are you her relatives?"looking at her then at me, " shes out of danger. We just have to wait for her to wake up. Her arm is in a sling though. You may go to her now but shes still sleeping."

He even tapped my shoulders.

Her mom rushed inside and I followed my heart beating hard.

She had a scratch on her forehead.

Her left arm is in a sling and theres a bruise on her cheek.

She is sleeping. I approach her slowly, she was the one who push me out of harms way at the park.

I hold her hand. I cant seem to take my eyes off her.

Her mom tap my shoulder and asked me to sit. She told me alot of things.

I clenched my hands in anger as I listened.

Dhez was in the kitchen when Mei and a male friend arrived and started breaking the windows in the living room. She was so afraid but she managed to go out using the back door. She hide in the alleys for days until her mom's people found her and brought her back to Japan.

They have dealt with Mei when her mom found out that she is threatening Dhez again.

We were both startled when she spoke, " hyun.." I stood up and went to her but she is still sleeping.

" im sorry," her mom said," at the time my priority is the safety of my daughter. She almost lost her mind after that incident. But she recovered when she found out shes pregnant."

I look sharply at her.

" thats right, Haru Aoi is your son." She look at her hands. " Please forgive this old lady Jonghyun. I know she missed you all these years but I never hear her complain. She doesnt know but every night I can hear her crying while playing that song."

" You dont have to ask for forgiveness okasa. I understand."

I said quietly.

She hugged me. Then she smiled.

" We will go home now, I know you have a lot to talk about when she wakes up."

I carried Haru to the car. This is my son. I kissed his closed eyes before I gave him to his grandma.

I cant help but smile.

Her mom waved at me before they left. A plan was forming on my mind as dial Yonghwa's number.

Her eyes widened when she woke up. She just stare at me for a long time. Then she placed my hand on her cheek and she closed her eyes.

I sang to her the song that I have created when she left. She started crying softly.

I hugged her. Then one by one, Yonghwa Junshin and Minhyuk gave her the bucketfull of her favorite flower.

I went down on one knee and asked her, " will you share my dreams forever?"

She nod and I hug her again. I slipped the gold band that I bought the daybbefore she disappere

She asked me not to wake her up from this dream.

But this is not a dream love.

This is the start of our life together.

Dhez, saranghae, till death do us part.
