The Five: Elementals

All around me was darkness the only bit of light shown on a concrete sidewalk.

"Follow the sidewalk" hades voice whispered through the thin air, I rolled my eyes not in the mood for his antics.

I just want one night, ONE night where I can sleep peacefully and actually I don't know...DREAM?

"C'mon out man who claims to be my father" I called out into the darkness.

I heard a grown and he appeared in front of me "your no fun" he said crossing his arms, crossing my arms as well I looked him up and down.

"What do you want to tell me this time" I sigh out.

He gave me a maniacal smile "what if I told you I could give you the full power of the Aether?"

I scrunched my eyebrows "I would say your delusional because I would never kill my sister"

He took a few steps forward so we were now face to face "Just imagine all of that power radiating through your veins accessible through your very fingertips" he said grabbing my hand for emphasis.

"And how would you be able to give me that?" I asked.

He smiled and walked around me. "Will you allow me to show you?" He asked placing his hands on my shoulders.

"Yes"

He placed his hands on either side of my head and I closed my eyes.

When I opened them I was in front of my old childhood bedroom.

"What's this?" I asked turning to hades.

"This is your destiny" he said not missing a beat.

Taking in a deep breath I pushed open the door, in front of me was little Amiyah sleeping and little me standing watching her.

Little me pulled out a large rock out of her hoodie and held it above her hair.

"What is she doing?" I asked not breaking my attention away from the scene unfolding in front of me.

"Ending it before it starts" he whispered, it was as if I was in a daze I wanted to move to stop her. But I couldn't.

I watched as little me brought the rock down and smashed it over little Amiyah's head.

I jumped awake breathing heavily "what was that?" I whispered to myself.

Taking in a deep breath I reached over my bed to the table, and grabbed my iPhone to check the time.

Groaning I got out of bed to get ready for the day.

AMIYAHS POV

pushing open the door of my childhood bedroom I suddenly became very confused of my surroundings.

"Father?" I called.

"Yes" he answered appearing next to me.

"What is this?"

A maniacal smile made its way onto his face "this is where you can end it before it even started" he spoke not missing a beat.

Sighing I turned back and little me was holding a very large rock over her head, and laying before little me was little Aaliyah.

"wait!" Before the scene could unfold any further I reached forward and grabbed the rock.

Little me turned towards me with an expressionless face "wuh?"
