Seokjin's Pov:

I walked into the dining room to find Jungkook and Jae sitting around the dining table, eating together. Jae all smile. "morning Appa, look what daddy made me." he lifted his plate, showing me his Texas-size waffle.

"Wow, someone is going to be really full, can you finish that?" I walk over to him and kiss him on the cheek.

"I can, daddy said I am a big boy so I have to eat a lot to gain strength so I can grow up really strong, like him." It amazed me how happy and excited he was, he was always like that when his father is around.

"Join us, will you?" Jungkook holds my hand and looks up at me from his seat.

"Of course, I thought I missed breakfast, though," I told him truthfully as I took a seat. They usually ate earlier than this.

"We rode our bikes down to the lake and fished for a while. Jae insisted before we ate, so I couldn't disappoint him." Jungkook said, giving me a smile before returning to his food.

"Daddy brought me a new game from his trip, you want to see it Appa?"

"yes, but after you eat baby," I told him as I tried calming him down he was extremely hyper today, but I knew why.

Jae listened and ate his food, humming as he ate, while swinging his legs, it was a habit he had while eating, something I had trying breaking him out of but didn't work. Jungkook told me to leave him be, he will grow out of it when it's time.

"Jungkook?"

"Yes, babe," he answered, but his eyes never left his phone.

"I have been thinking about taking up a part-time job, I found this posting for a job at a music store, it's downtown and fairly close to Jae's school, and the hours won't interfere with me picking him up from school."

He placed his phone down on the table and looked at me, "Why?"

My stomach sunk, "What do you mean, why?"

"Why do you need a job? Is it necessary?" As usual, I couldn't read him; he had a blank stare on his face as he questioned me.

"I-it's not necessary, but it's better than being at home all the time. Jae isn't a baby anymore, he is in school, I am here alone during the days, so-"

"Isn't school keeping you busy? I thought that was the whole purpose of us agreeing for you to go back? Can you handle school, being a parent, keeping up our home, and work at the same time? Don't you think that's doing too much? Especially considering how irrelevant and unnecessary the need for you to work is." Jungkook tapped his fingers on the table and stared at me.

Jae lifted his head from his food and looked at both of us.

"It's fine; forget it," I mumbled, losing my appetite.

"No, let's not forget it, let's discuss it later, I want to understand your thought process and why the sudden urge to not only go back to school but to also work. Both of which I find unnecessary, school I can understand somewhat, but work, at a music store, are you being for real?"

I bit into my lip to try not to allow myself to cry, he was really mean, and I hated it. "I am done eating." I got up from the table and walked out of the dining room. He called after me, but I refused to respond. Nothing I was trying to do was unnecessary, how could going to school and bettering myself be considered as useless. I was hurt by his words.

A few minutes after I settled into my room Jungkook walked in, bringing me a tray with the food I left downstairs handing it to me. "You need to eat, you are losing too much weight."
