Sanji opens his eyes, awakening on his bed bunk to the sound of panicking straw hats surrounding him. First to come up to him was Chopper.
" Sanji! You're awake! " The little reindeer hugs him tightly as the sound of Luffys stomach echos from the other side of the room.
" Is Zoro awake?! " Sanji looks around the room, noticing Zoro laying down beside him. His body covered in bandages , sweating and shaking in pain. " Zoro! " tears start to form from Sanjis eyes, his hands gently pressing on his chest.
The little reindeer lowers his head, unable to look at Zoros body. " He hasn't woken up yet..." he mumbles. " He just keeps screaming your name, his body keeps getting wounded out of nowhere. ... " he explains as Sanjis head lowers onto Zoros chest.
" Z-Zooro..." Sanji began to stutter....Luffy comes from behind Sanji, placing his straw hat on his head...he gives a chuckle.
" He'll be okay Sanji , don't worry , Zoros strong. " Luffy smiles cheesily, but Sanji snaps.
" BUT HES FIGHTING HIMSELF IN THERE!! " Sanji crys with unstoppable tears. Making the crew speechless , Sanji continued to cry whilst attempting to wake his lover up once more, " ZORO!! "
" Sanji...." Chopper mumbles, putting on a brave face while rubbing Sanjis back soothingly. Hours went by with Zoro still screaming in his lovers nightmare, along with Sanjis uncontrollable cry. But the screams became weaker and weaker....along with Zoros heart. Chopper did the best he could, keeping the blood under control, making sure his wounds stay shut and that his breathing keeps at its best...but it failed.
It came to a point where Sanji couldn't even look at Zoros body, the fact that they both just recently found out they love each other, crushing him to pieces at the fact he could lose him. It became so hurtful that the tears just stopped flowing from his eyes. Emotionless.
" Its getting weaker.." The little reindeer feels Zoros pulse as the rest of the crew began to weep at their untreatable nakama. Chopper lifts up the blanket to cover Zoros face, but stopped by Sanji...the reindeer looks up at him, " Sanji...."
Sanji grasps Zoros face gently, " Oi...Idiot....you're scaring me..." Sanji whsipers, caressing Zoros cheek. One by one the crew left the room quietly, leaving Sanji alone with Zoros sleeping body...." We just found our love for each other...you can't leave me now..." he kisses his forehead.
Sanji stares at him for a few moments, thinking back to when he first met Zoro. All the adventures and arguments they were on together....the team work and the parties.... All Sanji thought was why?
" Why....Zoro....Why leave me? " He whispers whilst shaking his head....
" Shit...cook.....like I'd ever leave you " Sanjis eyes widen to the sound of Zoros voice. Zoros one functioning eye looking up at Sanji, smiling weakly..
" ZORO! " Sanji cried with joy, hugging Zoro tightly. Zoro just chuckles as he hugs Sanji back gently.
" Its okay baby I'm here..." he whispers , rubbing Sanjis back soothingly whilst letting him have a good cry.
" I-I THOUGHT I LOST YOU! " Sanji crys louder as he kisses his lover.
" I'm sorry..he was pretty tough for a double..." he kisses Sanji back, " To be honest it was you who saved me Sanji.." he smiles as Sanjis eyebrow rises.
" What?" Sanji tilts his head.
" Your crys got me going...our love " Zoro caresses his cheek..." Its because I love you so much..." the swordsman pulls Sanji close for a hug.
" Is it over...Zoro? " Sanji asks.
" Its all over baby "
