When the Knights awoke, Arthur almost called out,

"Merlin, get our stuff ready!" But he soon realized that Merlin wasn't with them, he soon remembered, merlin was on the verge of death.

His Merlin was on the verge of death.

Ok, maybe not his Merlin. At least not yet. Arthur has always had a strange feeling towards the Raven haired servant, the boy that was unconditionally and almost instantly loyal, the servant whom had saved Arthur's life multiple times, the servant who had made Arthur a much better person. Hell, the day they'd met, Arthur knew he was a right arse then, with the way he'd treated his former servant. He was rather cruel, to say the least. But slowly, the Raven haired boy with the ridiculous ears and the rather selfless way of living had helped turn Arthur into the king he was today.

He was no longer cruel, egotistical and selfish. Merlin had helped show Arthur what it meant to be a good king, "The Once And Future King", merlin would often all him. The blonde still didn't fully know why, he also knew people referred to him and merlin as "two sides of the same coin", Arthur didn't fully understand that either but at the same time, it made sense. The two were almost always together, facing ever foe together, brothers in arms.

Arthur stood up and looked around, his Knights slowly regained their consciousness, all but immediately remembering the task at hand. They quickly closed up their camp, and took to their horses, climbing on and immediately starting their journey, for merlin.

Sorry for the short chapter and sorry for the writers block, I haven't really had any ideas on a few of my stories. I am so sorry! :(
