Taehyung's POV:
I woke up with the sounds of the crashing waves.
Rays of sunshine through the glass window were blinding my eyes. I blocked the light putting my hands on the eyes.I finally woke up after a lazy night. I went to the balcony. Blue sea was waiting in front of me.
It was a bright day. The breeze was mild but soothing. And the distinguishing silence the environment had apart from the waves, seagulls, and pine needles were priceless.
I got fresh and went downstairs. There was no sign of Ash. Maybe she was not up yet. I decided to make breakfast for both of us. This was the least I could do after all she had done for me.
I went to the kitchen. Searched for the ingredients for a little while. I was not a good cook like Jin or Yoongi hyung. I was terrible at it.
But I could do some basics I believed. Even Namjoon hyung could do those, apart from blowing up the oven.So I went for bacon, scrambled eggs, and toast. Those should do.
I tried to work quietly. But what good could you do when you undoubtedly were a lousy worker?
"Tae?" a sleepy voice came from the kitchen door.
Ash was standing there. Eyes still hazy with sleep with her bed hair.
"You are awake!" I welcomed her.
She looked at me curiously. Then smiled, "You are making breakfast? Oh my!"
I smiled energetically, "Go get freshen up."
She looked around. Confused. Guessing the time, she blushed, "Oh god!!! I overslept!"
"Overslept?!!" this time I was confused. It's just 7 a.m!
She smiled blushing, "it's just... I have to wake up early every day. It's a routine, 4 a.m sharp."
I laughed at her, "You poor thing!"
She smiled, "I won't take long."
I nodded and she ran upstairs.
As she said, she didn't take long. By the time I finished the bacon, she rushed downstairs. Hair tied in a ponytail.
She came to me, "move."
"Why?" I was surprised.
"I can't let you make breakfast. You are my guest here, remember?" she raised her eyebrow.
"But I want to..." I said in a disappointed tone.
She laughed at my action, " You clearly can't cook, boy. But I can let you help me. Ok?" she said teasing.
"Ok," I said, disappointed.
She laughed.
We finished cooking and sat at the patio behind the cottage. The breeze was overwhelming. She sipped down her apple juice and said, "I will contact the airport about your suitcase after this. But do you remember any contact you want to call?"
I didn't. I know.
I could ask her to contact Bighit as I remembered that, and I could ask her to let me use her phone or computer to access my social accounts. But it was highly restricted for us to do that due to security issues.
But I was good anyway and I didn't see any need for those."No, I don't," I replied.
"You wanna go pick your phone first? Or what do you wanna do else?"
"If they have already found my bag, I will go to the airport. If they have not, I'll need to go shopping. I have to find my hotel too," I said.
"Ok, let's do that," she said energetically, "I am in an excellent mooooood."
I chuckled at her silliness.
