Destiny awoke, later than usual. "You know, you're going to be late" Riley singsonged, having had been up for two hours. "I'll be fine" Destiny muttered, dragging herself out of bed. "whatever you say, I'll see you later" Riley sighed, walking out. Realising she only had ten minutes, Destiny grabbed a random outfit. It was a red playsuit with white hearts all over it. Lucky for her, it was nearing summer, graduation appearing far too fast. She brushed through her hair and left it to fall naturally, slipped her feet into a pair of white trainers, picked up her bag and a random jacket and was out of the door. She wore no makeup, which wasn't uncommon for destiny, the last time she wore it for a normal day was way before she was "kidnapped" by Greyson.
She didn't make an effort to speed up when she saw many of her class entering the classroom, she could make it easily. That was until ben appeared in front of her. "Destiny! I was looking for you all morning" he exclaims. "I overslept, what do you want?" she mutters, not wanting to deal with her teacher being annoyed today. "I need you to come to a meeting at 11" he says. Destiny was confused, she had a class at 11. "I'm in class, where I'm meant to be right now" she says. "I've excused you, so you're coming, my office at 11?" He asks. "Yeah whatever, if you don't mind I'm late for class" she pushes past him. "Tell your teacher I was bothering you" Ben smiles. Destiny nodded, smiling slightly.
She wandered in, everyone was still just settling down. "Miss destiny, how lovely of you to join us" her chemistry teacher said, clearly being sarcastic. "I'm sorry, I do have a story" Destiny says. "Oh another story from destiny, yippie" Chad says, clearly being sarcastic. Destiny shot him a glare which he just returned. This was interrupted by Mr delay. "Go on then, I'm waiting" He says, clearly annoyed with destiny already. She annoyed many of her teachers, with her quick remarks and love for talking, it almost had her on their bad side. But her smarts when she tried made up for it, making her one of the brightest in her year. "So I woke up late, I only had ten minutes to get ready then I was going to make it, I could have easily came in just after everyone but Ben stopped me, he was telling me I'm needed in a meeting or something, I kept trying to tell him but he said to tell you that I was with him and he can authorise my lateness" Destiny says, almost in one whole breath. "Fine, i'll speak to the king, take a seat next to chad" he instructed. "Next to him!" Destiny whined. "Maybe if you were here earlier I could have sorted out a different seat"
Complaining, she took the seat. She faced her back to chad, which he didn't mind at first. "Talk amongst yourselves whilst I set up the practical" he mutters. Destiny span around, to talk to the people opposite her, Evie and Doug. She smiled at them, mainly at Doug but she was warming up to evie. "So destiny, how is the most annoying person ever doing?" Chad asked. "I don't know chad, how are you?" She remarked, smiling slightly. Chad didn't see that coming, it took a while for him to think of a comeback. "Let me rephrase my question, how is the most handsome person ever doing?" he smirked. "I don't know that either, you'd best ask Greyson gothel, but thank you" Destiny smiled, ran a hand through her hair and turned her back on him. Evie giggled, she always liked destiny. She admired her confidence, one day she'd make Destiny her friend. "Close your mouth, it's making you even more unattractive" she smirked, still not looking at him.
"I can't believe you like a villain" Chad muttered. "He's not a villain at heart, can't say the same for the girl you've been chasing ever since we were kids though" she shrugged, still not looking at him. Doug and Evie watched in awe. Destiny had so much confidence, she had an answer for everything. Doug had grew up with destiny, they were practically siblings, she was always more outgoing and confident. She encouraged him to be confident, but it never worked. "Audrey isn't a villain" Chad says, confused. "Remember you said that" Destiny says, she always felt that there was something off with Audrey. She didnt know what, she just knew there was something strange.
Greyson sat on his bed, not bothering to go to school. "Are you not going to school?" his little sister Gigi came wandering in. "Nope" Greyson shrugged. "You look sad, are you missing that pretty girl?" Gigi asks, sitting down next to him innocently. "What pretty girl?" Greyson asked, she couldn't possibly be talking about destiny, could she? "me and mommy saw you with a pretty girl last week, you were on the beach then you ran when you heard us" Gigi giggled. Greyson placed his head in his hands. "It's okay, mommy thinks you were cute, if only you could have kept her here. I would have liked to meet her" Gigi shrugged, she was an innocent six year old, she just watched the world go by. She didn't know that she wasn't supposed to like the people on the other side, she just wanted to feel like a princess, just how her mother raised her. "She would have loved you, you would have loved her" Greyson sighed, already knowing what he was going to write to destiny when her next letter arrived. "I wish she stayed here, or we could go and visit her" Gigi sighed, she really did want to meet this girl, it looked like her brother cared about her alot, and she wanted to make sure she was good enough for him. "You and me both G, you and me both" Greyson sighed. "One day?" She asked. "One day."
