Two weeks after school let out, and I'm finally get to go to my grandparents place. I was so excited to get away from all of the school drama and to see Sofia, my favorite cousin.

Grandma Turtle wasn't like the other slow and sick elderly you'd typically see wasting their days in nursing homes. She was a lightning bolt of explosive energy. Heck, I'd even admit she's even faster than today's youth by a long run. She was the human embodiment of The Flash, whether it came to cooking, exercising, doing chores, and so many more.

I waited and waited with Mom outside for Grandma Turtle to arrive at Mom's work place. It seems  as though she was running a little late. Which is not like her. So, I joked around and said, "Here Granny, Granny, Granny, granny, granny, granny, granny."

Suddenly, a motorcycle zips across the corner lightning-quick. Grandma Turtle was here within an instant. Her spiky hair and motorcycle makes her appear as if she were a member of a biker gang. Grandma Turtle parked her bike in a parking lot. "Hello, Faith, nice to see you," she said. "Papa Speed will be coming with the car."

Papa Speed used to be speedy. Ironically, he isn't anymore. He's the opposite of Grandma Turtle. But we kept that name with him since it goes with his long lasting wife. Papa Speed is now slow actually. Like how most old people are.

A few minutes passed by as a car turns up into the parking lot. There drove Papa Speed, hunched back into his driver seat. I put my belongings into the trunk and hop into the back, being greeted with none other than Sofia and Percy? I looked at Percy confused.

I got out of the car and asked Grandma Turtle, "Why is your platypus Percy here?"

"Because I can't go anywhere without him," she responded. "I brought cookies," she added.

I look at Grandma Turtle. Even though she's is not like other Granny's, she does make the best cookies.

We started to catch up since we last met. We told each other about what's been going on, but I didn't tell them about my troubles. I don't want to worry anybody, especially Grandma Turtle. She is like a child at heart and so is Papa Speed as they're inseparable.
