Chapter 31 First Day Back

     Weeks passed by and my mind  still lingers about Donald. I know I should be happy that Donald won't be messing with me anymore thanks to Stevie. But now there is a  troubling realization that school is reopening and I have to start where I left off at the alternative school. 

     Sofia, Grandma Turtle, and I meet up to do school shopping for supplies. Not as much fun. But I hang around Sofia for company time and time again. More weeks passed until the first day of school. Taking the school bus like last year and I can't help but feel a sense of nostalgia. I walked into the school building and the first person I saw was Nicole. She looked angrier then ever and far worse.

     She tried to make a scene and was blaming me for putting her in juvenile back at Twobits farm. "You did this to me you..." Nicole was suddenly cut off by a new teacher who dragged her away. 

"Who is this new teacher?" I asked myself. I've never seen this teacher before. I'm surprised Nicole got in trouble for once and not me.

     As I turn the corner, I ran into the two most great people. I look up to see Sassy and Stone. We walked to class together and caught up on what we had missed since I was gone and all.

"Ahem," Mrs. Clive cleared her throat. "I would like to start and tell you all that Mr. Tono will no longer be with us. He has been put on administrative leave pending an investigation upon wrongful imprisonment charges. He is also charged with first degree assault. Apparently he and his wife locked a kid in the closet and sat on the student."

     The classroom door rammed opened and Nicole walked in. Her red face was steaming with rage. She violently slammed the door, which made the whole building quiver. She sat down at her desk and glared a hole through Mrs. Clive and I.

"That kind of behavior will get you in more trouble," Mrs. Clive said to Nicole. Nicole got back up and left the classroom slamming the door once more.
