I unpack my stuff from my suitcase. I was pretty excited to be having a sleepover with Sofia and Nina in the girls guest room. It's been forever since I last remembered a sleepover. It's our first day here so we took it easy. Cookie, Sofia, Grandma Turtle, and I decided to hike near the springs waters. The evaporating mist of the water felt both invigorating and refreshing on our faces.
"Wow, look at that! Another platypus!" Grandma Turtle pointed in an amazed astonishment and then looked at Percy, her platypus, who was with us. Percy's eyes grew wide as he squealed. "Well, that was int-" Grandma Turtle says and then suddenly interrupted.
Twigs snapped, leaves crunched, and branches broke in the distance. There stood a large deer who started to charge at us. "Hell with these kids," Grandma Turtle bolted away. I turned around at Grandma Turtle, but she was well off, running into the distance which would surely put us young ones wanting to bolt to shame. She ran like a chicken with its head cut off. We ran after Grandma Turtle, but she's well ahead and far out of sight. Exhausted, we catch our breath and pant like dogs on a hot summer day.
"She's... Fast," I say between breaths.
"Yeah, but I think I hear something. A motorcycle in the distance revving its engines. It seems to be coming towards us," Cookie looks confused as ever.
Grandma Turtle rides the motorcycle, zipping like a Nascar racer in the lead. The tires come to a screeching halt and was followed by a trail of smoke blazing from the tires. "I can't believe I left you," Grandma Turtle shouted.
"Yeah, you ran so fast we could not keep up," Sofia managed to breath out.
"Come on Percy," Grandma said, scooping up Percy. As soon as she returned, she leaves just as fast as she disappears with the deer in hot pursuit.
"Is she always like this?" Cookie groaned. I nod.
We run out of the bushes to find our way back, rustling through the leaves. "Was it the goose again?" Cross chuckles.
"No a deer," sighs Cookie. The deer ran out of the bushes. It's antlers, sharp as knives, glistens in the sunlight. We too, run like Grandma Turtle, gaining a sudden burst of momentum as we zip to the farm.
We heard a loud gun shot. The bullets make a sickening thud upon contact. The deer collapses. "I call dibs on the first piece of meat," Twobits cheered, setting the gun back on the table.
Later that night we were huddled around a campfire. Its warmth radiating like a heater as we roasted marshmallows, eating hotdogs, and cooking deer meat. We told a bunch of ghost stories that send chills down our spines. Twobits volunteers to tell his story first and then Cookie's which I feared most.
The confident Cookie cracked his knuckles and cleared his throat obnoxiously. "One dark twilight, as I laid in my bed, many thoughts of ghosts flooded into my head. The shadow I saw of a figure, shaped and twisted and turned, I closed my eyes, and minutes later, the figure turned. It's eyes, gaping holes of white, stared directly into my soul at the dead of night. It threw a bag over me, to which I awoke from fright. I broke out of the paralysis out of anger and fear, mustering the strength to make it's weakness disappear. It disappeared as I woke up to where I was sleeping, that same room, everything was identical." Cookie says, slightly trembling nervously.
The time came, and we were all sent to bed. That ghost story lingered in my head. Maybe I can write a ghost story and tie it along with the one I got. But I have to finish the one I got first. I grab my pen and paper and begin to write

Chapter 27 The Final Decision
Avi P O V
I jumped up. I looked over where Faith was sleeping. Nothing but her phone. I unlocked her phone and saw text messages. There I found back and forth messages with an unknown number. It depressed me of why she would do this. Do it just to save me. It was 6:45am.
*End of Book*When I finished writing, it was the dead of night. Just like when Cookie faced that sleep demon. I better sleep now. They get up early like at the crack of dawn.
