It was so close to be leaving the farm and it's country smell behind. I look over at Nina. She's sullen, perhaps not enjoying her time at the farm, so different from me. We work in the garden, picking vegetables for our next meal later tonight.
Cross squints his eyes and locked onto something very concerning. "Hey, guys. Is that smoke coming from the other side of the colossal garden?!" Cross yells, surprised as he runs to the truck.
We all hopped in and hoped to intercept the fire in time. The truck zips in the wind. When Cross hits the brakes, dirt and dust flies in the air. A blazing inferno incinerates the large garden, like a starved lion tearing meat apart.
"MY CROPS!" Twobits bellowed, wiping a manly tear away from his cheek.
The fire began spreading uncontrollably. Despite our best efforts with the garden hose, it did practically nothing besides saving a small patch. Blue and white lights flash as sirens approach in the distance. Two cop cars pull up to the scene, along with two fire trucks and one ambulance.
During the fire being put out in an intense battle, Sofia looked at a rustling bush, where something was crouching intently.
Twobits walked up to the bushes and found the most disturbing scene, but yet the mystery destroyer. "Well, well, well! Look who it is," Dynamite started to say.
Twobits was furious. "There are three types of people in this world," Twobits said in his most country talk. "The good, the bad, and the ugly."
"Looks like you folks are in big trouble," Cookie nudges Twobits.
"Are we, Tyler?" Cross chuckles, exposing the trio of Tyler, Charlie, Nicole, and their cousin Gunner.
Tyler and Gunner were burnt by the fire and were sent to the hospital. Nicole and Charlie were cuffed and sent into the back seat of the cop car.
