We enter the house and the wild Yeehaw audibly played obnoxiously. As soon as we turned the corner, we were met with Twobits.

"My father opened up a slaughterhouse and food market combined. Would you guys wanna go out to our farm? We could use your help," Twobits asked excitedly, wanting to show us his living place on the farm.

Most of the group was beyond happy, getting to visit somewhere other than home, even though Cross and Dynamite already worked there. Nina and I stared at each other reluctantly, before refusing.

"Why don't you wanna go?" Twobits pleaded, trying his best to persuade us.

"I um... Don't like country stuff," I blurted out. I was unsure of what he'd make of it.

"Faith, could you go? Just this once," Grandma Turtle asked.

"Yeah! I can't wait to get there. It'll sure be fun for all of us. Seeing all the horses and cattle!" Cookie excitedly stated, jumping up and down.

"Faith, dear. We'll all be going, you don't want to be all alone here now would you? Are you sure?" asked Grandma Turtle, somewhat disappointed with my choice of refusal.

"Back in my day, when I owned a farm, we had many animals to play with and feed. We had horses, chickens, pigs, and cows. Me and the boys rode horses all day and night," Papa Speed explained, obviously trying to persuade me to reconsider my choice.

"Sorry, I don't like farms, it gets my shoes messy," Nina argued.

Cross reassures Nina, as he always does. "C'mon, you don't get to visit a farm everyday, it'll be okay," Cross reassured Nina as he put his arm across her shoulder and slightly blushed, a hue of red plastered on his cheeks.

"Okay, I guess it's settled then. We'll be going to the farm for two weeks!" Twobits declared.

The sun sets low in the afternoon as the light dims across the horizon. We packed up, grabbed a few of our belongings, and got into the car. The road trip was painstakingly boring, even when viewing the landscape and beautiful skies howling in the winds as we drove along.

We finally got to the farm after a 20 minute ride. I stepped out of the car, smelled that country smell, then got back in and shut the door.

Dynamite came to the car that I was seated in. He picks me up and carries me to the porch. "You better get used to it because we're going to be here for 2 weeks. By the way... Have you ever ate a clock on your first day?" Dynamite asks, smirking.

"No, why?" I reply. "It's very... time consuming!" Dynamite roars in laughter.

I walk around the back to visit the barn to see what was so dang exciting about the farm. "Whoopy," I said to myself. "Animal manure."

My attention was lost when I heard a scream and rustling in the bushes, followed by loud panting. I fell back, clearly surprised and caught off guard, tumbling. Cookie and Sofia looked as though they'd seen a ghost. "What is it? What's wrong? What is coming after us? A lion? A tiger? A bear?" I ask, confused as to their sudden excitement.

"Goose," Sofia nervously trembles in fear and was hiding behind me. The group laughs in amusement of her fear.

"Stop it, there was no warning. He just came outta nowhere. We could have at least seen a duck... then a duck... and then a..." Cookie said as everyone  giggles uncontrollably. All I did was walk inside to unpack my things in the girls guest room.
