A/N: Before this chapter, I just want to say that I am changing the upload schedule to Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. That's all, enjoy the chapter.

I ended up waking up before Jessie again, I watched her sleep for a little while, I noticed a strand of hair that had fallen in front of her face and I went to move it but when I touched Jessie she woke up immediately.

"Good morning," I said sweetly.

Jessie cuddled up to me, a sure sign she didn't want to wake up. She ended up putting her head in the crook of my neck and I had my chin on the top of her head. We cuddled for an hour before Jessie finally woke up.

"So where do you want to go for breakfast?" I asked when she was finally fully awake.

"Can we go to my favorite place in New York City?" Jessie asked, giving me puppy eyes.

"Ok," I said getting up and going to shower.

I hadn't realized how much dry blood was really on me. The water would hit my skin and almost instantly turn black. The brimstone had helped with the pain but I was still a little sore. When I got out of the bathroom I saw Jessie had changed into some of my clothes. I also changed and walked up to her.

"You look great in my clothes," I said knowing that because I am taller my shirt fit her loose.

"They are comfy," Jessie said looking up at me. She got on the tips of her feet and kissed me softly.

We walked out and headed to the subway station. We got onto the subway and realized it was early enough for no one to be on the subway itself.

"We're alone on the subway," I said teasingly to Jessie.

"Ew, gross," she said elbowing me and then leaning her head on my shoulder.

We sat like that for the two stops before Times Square. We got out and walked a few more blocks to a diner. We finished pretty quickly and made our way back onto the subway and to Jessie's apartment.

"I need to wear something that's mine," she said as we went inside her apartment.

"You're keeping my hoodie right?" I asked already knowing the answer.

"Oh, of course," Jessie said laughing.

We walked in and went into Jessie's room. I sat on the bed while she changed in the bathroom. A few minutes later, Jessie walks out wearing my hoodie but regular jeans with it.

"What a change," I joked.

"Oh shut up," she said.

We ended up making out on her bed for a few more minutes. Before I realized what time it was.

"Shit, I have work to do," I said looking at my watch.

"Me too, we should go together," Jessie said excitedly.

"Isn't pointless considering our jobs are the opposite of each other.

"It's fine," Jessie said, kissing me again.

"Ok, you've convinced me," I said getting up and walking out.

"I'll show you the beauty in creating life," Jessie said running up behind me.

"And I'll show you what life is really about," I said as we made our way to the first location.
