I opened my eyes and I saw that the room was pale blue and smelt like those air freshener things. Looking around I saw Dana sleeping while holding my hand. Oh right. Dana saved me when Jason was beating me up and I blocked him before Jason tried to hit him with a baseball bat. I shuddered. I really thought I was going to die. Looking down at Dana, I remembered his angry face when he saw Jason choking me. What am I to you if you get jealous and come rescue me like that? I cautiously touched his hair, hoping he wasn't going to wake up, but he did. His eyes widened when he saw me.
"Vivian. You're okay!" He managed to say and he hugged me, crushing my ribs.
"Dana...I'm really sorry" I said.
The tears coming again. He didn't say anything. I felt so bad for betraying him this way. That's when I felt his arms shaking. I pulled away and saw that his eyes were filling with tears.
"Dana...." I said.
He hugged me tight again.
"I thought I lost you. Seeing you, laying on the ground and the wounds, God Vivian, I thought I lost you..." He said.
I felt my tears falling down my cheeks. Oh my god.
"I'm sorry Dana, I'm so sorry..." I said hugging him back.
