~5 days later~

I woke up to Dana kissing my cheeks and whispering "Wake up baby, I'm home!"

I opened my eyes and looked into his beautiful eyes. Almost immediately, I jumped into my boyfriend's arms.

"So you did miss me!" He said laughing.

I nodded. "You don't even know how much." I said.

He hugged me back.

"I missed you too, baby." He said.

Then he said "Get ready, baby, we're going over my parents' house."

I suddenly got really nervous and that showed on my face. Dana saw and came over.

"Hey you okay?" He asked.

"Huh? Oh yeah, I am..." I said.

He kneeled in front of me and took my hands in his.

"They still love you baby, don't worry." He said.

I nodded but I was still really nervous. I mean I'm pretty sure Dana's parents knew his misery when I left... He then leaned in and gave me a peck on the lips.

"I'm not letting you go even if they don't accept you. Remember, baby? You agreed to be mine, and what's mine can't be taken away." He said.

I blushed. I smiled at him but inside I was still worried. Dana can literally read right through me, so he knew I was still nervous.

He pulled me into a hug saying "I won't let them take you away."

I hesitated for a second, then I hugged him back. After we pulled away, Dana left so I could change. I put on my outfit that I bought the other day with the girls, put on a sweater, and grabbed my gift for Dana's parents. When I opened the door, Dana took my hand and we left for his parent's house.

On the way to his parent's house, I worked on my new song. I had my headphones on and my music was blaring. I started singing:

So bring me the night, send out the stars
'Cause when I'm dreaming we don't seem so far
Darken the sky and light up the moon
So that somehow you'll be here with me soon
Bring me the night
Bring me the night
That brings me to you
You

All of the sudden, Dana unplugged my headphones.

"What the-? Dana." I said giving him a 'really?' look.

He laughed.

"You were so into the song that you didn't hear me at all when I called your name." He said.

I laughed. "Are you closely observing me?" I asked as I rolled my headphones up.

He nodded.

"I'm watching the perfect girlfriend in her natural habitat!" He said.

I blushed. He then took my hand as he drove down the street.

Entwining our fingers, he then asked "Are you still nervous?" I looked down and reluctantly nodded.

He kissed my knuckle.

"They will still love you, baby. I know I do." I looked up to his reassuring smile.

He gave my hand a squeeze before he let go and drove into the driveway.
