Chapter 10

I was discharged from the hospital a few days after my friends confronted Jason. I have fully recovered. What? A kick to the ribs and a bat to the back isn't going to bring me down! I kind of started to avoid Dana so I can move on but he's making it very difficult. He's been texting me for a while now to ask how I'm doing and everything. I ignored them all, but it kind of hurts me when I do. It's been weeks since then.

"He likes you Viv, like he really does." Jennifer said the other day when we were at the mall and she saw my phone vibrate the 3rd time.

"Are you sure it's not out of pity?" I asked, ignoring my phone.

"What do you mean by that?" She asked.

"I mean, he's only paying attention to me because of what happened with Jason. Isn't that just pity?" I asked.

"I think he likes you." Jennifer said before we walked into the food court.

Kaila said the same thing when we were taking a break from recording.

"He said you're the most important person to him! It shows that he not only likes you, but that he's head over heels for you!" She said.

"It could be because we are really good friends...?" I said.

She shook her head. "Girl, no. Both of your paths are destined to connect and are to continue on side by side." She said and smiled.

Kanika also said the same thing as Kaila and Jennifer when I went to eat with her later that day.

"Can't you see that he's head over heels for you?" She said.

I shrugged.

"Well, he did already reject me once so no." I said.

Kanika shoved a forkful of cake into my mouth while I was talking.

"Girl he likes you. And you obviously like him back! You can't just say you've moved on and actually move on, I know you still have feelings buried deep in your heart." She said.

2 hours later~
As I sat in my office, I thought about my feelings. Have I really moved on from Dana? Do I really just see him as a friend? The door opened and I looked up. There, stood 8 guys in masks.

"What the-?!" I was about to say but they grabbed me, hauled me over one of their shoulders and ran out of the building.

I screamed but no one can hear me because they covered my mouth. Then I took off the cloth from my mouth and I kicked them real hard and punched them. They yelled out in pain but kept running. What's going on? Am I being kidnapped?! That's when I grabbed the guy by the waist who had me over his shoulder and flipped him over. He slammed onto the ground. Right when I heard his voice, I glared at them.

"Cole, what the heck are you guys doing?!" I yelled.

"Crap! We got found out!" I heard Ade say.

"What do you mean-" I was about to say when I heard his voice.
