I'm not sure what kind of living arrangements I expected from a guy with probably more than two cars, but this is more than I could've imagined. It's basically a penthouse suit.
Is it nice? Hell yeah. Would I live here? Fuck no. This place has stairs that lead to a second floor. I would give up an arm and a leg to never have to climb a stair. Imagine getting home and having to climb stairs to get in bed. This place was also very well kept. Probably the work of a helper. Just how rich is this guy? There's no way I would've been able to afford living here for four years. Not that I would ever allow my parents to pay this much money on my housing.
"Nice place," Naomi spoke by Caleb's side just as Reece entered. He was the last to arrive.
"Uh. Thanks," Noah said. Shrugging off his jacket and if I didn't think the guy was hot before I definitely do now. I had to tear my eyes away from looking at his arms and that stupid white t-shirt that was a little too tight-fitted.
My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of music and Lydia and Maddison dancing and laughing. It was one of Lydia's favorite by the Chainsmokers.
Noah left in the direction of what I would believe is the kitchen while the rest of us sat and laughed as Lydia and Maddison performed a little routine not so gracefully.
Noah returned shortly after with glasses and three bottles of different alcohols and placing them on the center table for everyone to have at it. He poured himself something then poured what appears to be white wine in a wine glass before sitting beside me and handing me the latter. "For the lady." He smiled at me.
"Thanks," I said smiling appreciatively.
"What now?" Lydia asked when she finally stopped dancing and she and Maddi sat on one of the sofas.
"I know!" Maddi shouted. "Jenga."
They guys groaned and protested. Theo even let out a string of profanities.
"We are playing. You guys never want to play. And I don't see anyone else coming up with any other ideas so Jenga it is." She took off running in the direction of the stairs.
"What's so bad about Jenga?" I asked Noah.
"Nothing is wrong with Jenga. What's wrong is the type of Jenga that Maddi wants to play. I'm pretty sure the game was created by the devil himself. It has all these bizarre dares." He answered.
Maddie came running back with the box in her hand. She made way on the center table and poured the box's content onto it. It looked like your typical Jenga blocks. Only with writing on the underside of them. She started setting the game up.
"Okay. Since we finally have an equal amount of boys and girls we can have pairs. Caleb, you're already sitting beside Naomi same with Olivia and Noah. Reece, you're with me and Theo is with Lydia." Maddi gave out orders.
"The rules are the same as always with the addition that each block has something written on the underside. Your partner can help you decide what block to move. We take turns taking out a piece and doing whatever the block says. Got it?"
There was a chorus of 'got it's' in response.
"Great. I'll go first." she knelt before the standing structure and waited for Reece to tell her what block to move.
Reece leaned forward in his seat taking time to observe the structure. "Centre block, third one from the top."
Lydia found the block and pulled it out without the structure collapsing. "Shirt swap for the next three rounds."
We all busted out laughing. Except for Reece of course. Maddi's choice of shirt for the night was a cream-colored, off the shoulder, long-sleeved crop top.
"Well, you heard the block Reecey. Shirt off." Caleb laughed.
He huffed as he took his shirt off throwing it at Maddison who was just about rolling on the ground laughing.
She quickly got changed in a nearby bathroom and came back, throwing her top at him. He hesitated before struggling to put it on.
"Need some help with that Reecey?" Noah asked in a mocking tone.
"Shut the fuck up man." he got the top on after struggling a bit. It was way too tight and it tore a little at the sides.
"This game is golden," Lydia said laughing her ass off.
"I think you look very pretty." Maddi complimented him. "Okay. Naomi, your turn."
Caleb helped Naomi to choose a block and pull it out successfully. She seemed happy, that was until she read what was on the other side of the block. "Lap dance."
Well, this should be amusing. She looked at Caleb whose face has already heated up.
"The blocks have spoken. Maddison. Music." Lydia spoke, clearly enjoying this.
Pillowtalk by Zayn starts playing. Naomi looked to me and I nodded at her. She closed her eyes and took a breath then took her hair out of her up-do. It wasn't the first time Naomi's been dared to give someone a lap dance. She gave one to James Walker at a party in our senior year of high school. So I was not at all surprised when Naomi started her little routine.
Everyone else watched the scene with dropped jaws and wide eyes. Caleb's eyes were practically out of his head. Naomi brought her legs up to straddle his lap as she continued. Somehow, Caleb's eyes widened more as he used his hands to take hold of her thighs.
"Okay! Save the rest of that for the bedroom." Maddison said, cutting the music just as Caleb's hand started to run up Naomi's thighs.
Naomi got up and returned to her original spot on the couch. She looked at me again and I grinned at her having a little conversation in our heads. She smiled and shook her head.
Caleb was having a hard time regaining composure. He cleared his throat three times before grabbing his drink and drinking it all.
"Okay my turn," I said in an attempt to ease some of the tension in the room. "Which block should I choose?" I asked Noah.
"That one. To the right." He said pointing to a block towards the center of the structure. I looked between him and the block.
"Are you sure? That one looks a little risky."
"Trust me, Angel." Do I trust him though? I don't want to be the one to topple this thing over.
I knelt in from of the structure assessing it. There's a much safer play here. Why didn't he choose that one? All eyes were on me, waiting for me to move a block.
Damn you, McCoy.
I slowly removed the block, being careful to not shift the others. My fingers were shaking a bit but I managed to pull the damn thing out without all the blocks collapsing.
I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding. I smiled at Noah while shaking my head. Leave it to him to make me pull the hardest block. I read the action on the block out loud. "Body shot."
