If someone told me two weeks ago that I'd be drinking alcohol off a guy's body I would've probably laughed in their face.
I'm not sure how I was supposed to complete this task. It was hard for me to focus sitting beside Noah in a shirt. Now I have to take a shot off him naked?
I looked at him worriedly not daring to make the first move. Thankfully he did.
He took his shirt off and laid flat on the white sofa. Is it even possible to have a body like that? My mid had a million thoughts running through it right now. I was frozen in my position. Is it too late to choose again?
"Yes," Maddi said getting up to pour the alcohol on her brother. "Ready?"
No. "Yeah." I walked to the edge of the sofa and knelt in front of him. Everyone watched in amusement.
Maddi poured the alcohol on Noah's abdomen. It was now or never. If I didn't do it the alcohol would get all over his white sofa and I'm not about to let that happen. I moved my head closer to him and used my mouth to drink the content on his body. Some threatened to spill down his side onto the sofa. I used my tongue to catch it before it did.
I looked up to see how Noah was reacting to this. His eyes were squeezed shut and his hands were balled into fists by his side.
I used my tongue to capture any remaining traces of alcohol before mustering up every ounce of restraint I had left to remove myself from his body.
"I believe it's your turn Lyd," I said, clearing my head of all the thoughts running through it.
We did a few more rounds with Lydia having to take off one article of clothing, Reece finally got the chance to put his shirt back on but the blocks made him go commando when it came to his turn again.
The structure finally collapsed when it was Caleb's turn. To say the boys were relieved about this was an understatement. Reece being the most ecstatic of course.
It was a little after 12 now and as much as I would have loved to be in the comforts of my own home, everyone had consumed some amount of alcohol and was clearly not in a state to drive.
No one was out of their mind drunk. We were just at the point where just about everything seemed funny. We were all laying around talking, sharing information about each other and laughing.
I've learned a lot about the people in this room. Like that Caleb loves to surf, Reece did ballet when he was younger, Noah and Maddison were born a year apart. I even learned something new about Lydia.
"You were supposed to be a twin?" I asked in shock. She had never mentioned this before.
"Yep, I think it's called chimerism. It happens naturally in humans when a fetus basically absorbs its twin," she explained
"Wow. So there's two of you? Can I meet the other one?" Caleb asked. Maybe he's had a little more to drink than the rest of us.
Everyone started laughing at his question. "No, it doesn't work like that. There's one me. Just two sets of DNA."
"It would be cool to have a twin, When Noah and I were younger our parents would treat us like twins and made us wear the same color everything." Maddison laughed at the memory. "I thought it was fun, Noah hated every minute of it. Especially when it was pink day"
A few minutes ago I had granted Noah permission to lay his head on my lap. It was his sofa and I was already taking up space by being on it. I used my fingers to play with the strands of hair on his head. It seemed to have helped him relax a little when he tensed each time his sister mentioned their childhood or family.
My stomach decided that this was the perfect moment to start making noises. I've been trying to ignore my hunger for reasons I'm not sure of.
Noah must have heard the noise because he looked up at me with a smile and asked. "Hungry?"
I nodded in response to his one-worded question.
"C'mon then." He said standing up and making his way to the kitchen.
I got up as well to follow his lead. My legs were a little numb from the pressure that was previously applied to it but they quickly recovered.
"Where are you going?" Lydia asked me"Kitchen to get some food," Noah replied for me.
"I'm hungry too." Maddi pouted. "There are two boxes of leftover pizza in the refrigerator. Bring them out when you're coming back would you?"
Noah nodded his head in understanding to sister and continued walking to the kitchen.
"They're some disposable plates in the last cupboard to your right." He told me as he opened the refrigerator to get the pizzas and I went to get the plates.
I placed them on the countertop and climbed to sit on it as well.
He placed the pizza in the microwave to reheat it the went back to the refrigerator. This time taking out a carton of milk.
He closed the refrigerator and moved to open a cupboard beside the one I had just previously opened, taking out a box of Lucky Charms and a bowl."You're eating cereal at 12 in the morning?"
He walked over to where I was seated on the countertop and stopped in front of me.
"Is there a law that says I'm not allowed to eat cereal at 12 in the morning?" He asked.
"I guess not." Who am I to decide what kind of food is acceptable for consumption at 12 in the morning? It was kind of cool actually. And I loved Lucky Charm. To each their own right?
A moment seemed to pass of us just staring into each other's eyes.
"Alright then." He said. Turning around and pouring himself a bowl of cereal just as the timer on the microwave went off.
