The mall was one of my favorite places to be. Not because I loved to shop or anything of the sort. I just liked observing other shoppers. I'm not sure if it's clear as yet. But I'm not exactly the bubbly, outgoing, or chatty type. I liked being quiet sometimes, observing the world around.
Naomi, Lydia, and I walked through the mall entrance and a smile immediately finds its way to my mouth.
"Let's try the smaller boutiques first. We always do high-end stores first and in the end, we just buy something from smaller boutiques." I said, taking off in the direction of a store named Aurora's.
We walked into the store and we were immediately greeted by a woman who seems around late twenties or early thirties.
"Hello. Welcome to Aurora's do you need any assistance?" she greeted us.
"No thank you. We're just looking around for now." Naomi politely declined her offer as we started looking through different racks of dresses.
Lydia tried on a few dresses but Naomi and I couldn't find one that we loved. Most seemed a little too fancy or not fancy enough.
"I really liked the third one I tried on. If I don't find anything else I'm coming back for it." Lydia told the lady as we exited the store.
We visited a few more stores, getting sidetracked from the mission and ending up in a few non-clothing stores sometimes. We were currently in the Harry Winston jewelry store because Naomi spotted a pair of earrings she just had to have.
"Naomi, when is Caleb going to get here?" Lydia questioned Naomi as she paid for the earrings using one of her cards.
"He had some errands to run but he's actually supposed to be here any time now," she replied, checking the time on her phone.
"Okay, can we run to the bathing suit store before we go dress hunting again?" I asked them and they both nodded.
We entered Everything but water and I felt like I died and went to bathing suit heaven. We grabbed a bunch of different color bathing suits, complimenting and criticizing each one and deciding which ones to keep. Eventually, we ended up buying 3 pairs each.
"Hey Caleb, where are you?" I heard Naomi speaking over the phone. "Okay. We are heading over to Windsor now, you can meet us there," she told him before uttering a goodbye and hanging up.
We took to an escalator to the second floor and made our way to the store. Caleb and Noah stood by the door waiting. I didn't know he'd be here.
"Hey." Caleb greeted giving us each a hug. "How has shopping been so far?"
"Kind of tiring, but good I guess," I answered his question.
We all entered the store going separate ways to find a dress.
"What you looking for?" Noah's voice appeared beside me as I was looking through a rack of dresses.
"A dress to wear to a birthday party. I've been searching this mall for over an hour now and I have found nothing."
