''EH, WHO IS HE TO TALK TO ME THAT WAY!'' Y/n scolded, slurping her noodles. ''Please don't talk while you're chewing...'' Sabito sighed, pouring the boiling water into his cup noodles. Both Y/n and Sabito managed to burn the leftovers which were meant for dinner, even though they had to just heat it up.
''What a smug huh? He thinks he owns the fencing club just because he's a council member and he's only a first-year???'' Y/n continued ranting. Sabito sighed, stirring his noodles. ''Stupid kelphead. Good for nothing.'' she cursed, slurping her noodles once again. ''Who are you even talking about?'' Sabito sighed, slightly annoyed at his sister.
''That, Muichonru Tomiko????'' Y/n answered, obviously not remembering his name. ''You mean Muichirou Tokito?'' the older boy sighed. ''Yea, whatever his name is.'' Y/n shrugged. ''Hm, I heard about him, he seems really good at fencing from what I've heard from Giyuu.'' The boy stated, slurping his noodles.
Y/n glared at her brother. ''What??'' Sabito asked, confused at why she was glaring at him.

The next day of school quickly arrived, which meant that Y/n had to sit right in front of the boy she lost to. Pretty embarrassing if you asked her. Y/n prayed that he wouldn't speak or look at her since she was too embarrassed and slightly mad with him.
''Y/n please pass this down,'' Rio said, catching the girl's attention off her essay. Y/n nodded and took the pile of worksheets. ''Oh shit, I have to turn around.'' The girl cursed in her head as she slowly turned around. As quickly as she could, Y/n smacked the pile of worksheets on the boy's desk and turned back to face her desk.
The boy stared at the girl blankly, confused by her actions as he passed the worksheets behind. Using the tip of his pen, he poked the girl's back, trying to get her attention. Feeling the poking, Y/n tried her best to ignore it. ''What does he want?'' the girl awkwardly thought, feeling the poking getting more and more painful to ignore.
''What do you want?'' Y/n asked, finally giving up, turning around to face the emotionless boy. ''Hey, moody girl it's not your place to ignore me you know.'' the mint eyed boy stated clearly, not changing a single expression on his face. ''Moody girl? Excuse me?'' the girl stuttered.
''Yea, moody girl. You're always changing your expression. Isn't that tiring?'' Muichirou continued, pointing at Y/n startled face. Frowning Y/n remarked, ''Well isn't keeping one expression on tiring as well?'' With that, the girl turned back to face her desk.
''Are you still mad because I defeated you easily yesterday?'' the boy spoke, catching the girl's attention ones again. ''No, I'm not. Plus, duelling with you wasn't as exciting as it seems to be.'' Y/n commented, frowning at the emotionless boy.
Muichirou only stared at her lavender eyes with his mint ones, studying them. Noticing that he was staring, Y/n started to get creeped out. ''Hey, you good?'' The girl asked, waving her palm in front of his face. The boy blinked twice before returning his attention to his essay, ignoring the girl.
''Eh? He's ignoring me now??''

The familiar soft humming of the school bell rang, signalling the end of the school day. Y/n let off a huge sigh of relief, knowing that she wouldn't need to see Muichirou's face for the rest of the day. ''Y/n-san!!'' Rio exclaimed, approaching the unsuspecting girl. ''Oh Rio.''
''Let's walk to the club building together Y/n-san,'' Rio suggested, throwing her sports bad over her shoulders. ''Oh, but I'm heading home...'' the girl answered. ''Eh? I thought you had fencing?'' Rio asked, tilting her head to the side. ''Oh, I didn't make it for the try-outs.'' Y/n smiled.
''Oh...Would you like to see the track team though?'' Rio said, pulling her silver hair up into a ponytail. ''Oh, I think that will be alright, my brother's in the track team as well so I guess I could wait for him there.'' Y/n nodded, picking up her bag. Rio cheered happily as she leads Y/n to the school's stadium.

The girl watched as the track members ran circles around the field, some sprinting and some chilling under the shade of a tree. ''Hey Y/n, nice of you to come to watch me at practice, I really do need someone to refill my bottle.'' Sabito chuckled as he caught the waterbottle Y/n threw at him.
''Don't get too happy with it, I'm only here for a day you know.'' Y/n muttered. ''Oh cheer up little sis, are you still salty about yesterday?'' the brother teased. ''Hey, if it's not for that-'' Y/n started but was cut off by a boy.
''Sabito, the coach asked for you.'' a familiar voice escape from the boy's lips. ''Muichirou???'' Y/n stuttered, pointing at the boy. ''Huh?'' the boy stared at her with his mint eyes, sweat dripping from his skin as his long dark to mint hair's tied up onto a messy ponytail. ''I'm not Muichirou.'' the boy simply stated, giving the girl a confused expression.
''Oh Yn, this is Yuichirou, your rival's twin,'' Sabito smirked. ''He's not my rival!'' Y/n scolded, glaring at his brother. ''Oh, you're that moody girl my brother told me about,'' Yuichirou stated before drinking down a gulp of water. ''I am not moody.'' Y/n exclaimed.
''Well, moody or not, you're annoying. And we have to go.'' Sabito spoke, pulling Yuichirou with him as the two left. ''That emotionless brat has a twin?'' Y/n cringed.
''Yes I have a twin.'' a soft mumble rang from beside Y/n, making her jump. Muichirou stood beside the girl, blankly staring at her. ''Where did you come from?'' Y/n asked, still surprised that the boy had appeared from nowhere.
''From the fencing hall, we ended early today.'' the boy simply stated, taking a sit on the bench next to Y/n. ''Why are you here??'' Y/n continued. ''Isn't it obvious, I'm here cause I have to wait till Yuichirou ended his track meet.'' The boy stated, shoving his hands into his windbreaker.
Y/n sat beside the boy, silent. The atmosphere between the two was getting more and more awkward by every second. Until Muichirou broke the silence, ''Oh, Gyomei wanted me to tell you this.'' he stuttered, not glancing at the girl.
''Huh? Who's Gyomei?'' the girl replied, facing the boy. ''The president of the fencing team. You forgot already?'' the boy stuttered, glancing at the girl. ''Oh, sorry.''Y/n apologises. The two sat in a small silence before Muichirou spoke once again. ''He wanted me to tell you that we'll be expecting you at the fencing hall on Friday.''
''Huh? I thought I failed the try-out??'' Y/n stuttered, confused at why they'll be expecting her. ''Just because I've defeated you doesn't mean you've failed the try-out. They said your skills were decent enough to make the cut.'' He explained, glancing at the running members. Y/n stared at him, marvelled at his words. ''Really?? Maybe he's not really a brat.'' the girl thought.
''Hm, honestly, if it was me, I don't think your techniques are even on point, they're honestly sloppy.'' the boy remarked, smirking at the girl. ''Alright, I take back my words, he's a jerk.'' y/n frowned.
