She blinked.

Blink

Her lavender eyes shone under the upcoming moon as they gaze at her blank surroundings. 

''Huh.'' the girl stammered, hunting a dumbfounded expression on her plain face. It took Y/n a few minutes to process the situation, letting it sink into her. Once her situation had settled down in her, a single cold sweat trickled down the side of her cheek. 

Y/n spun around slowly on the spot as the grass beneath her tickled her ankles. ''Hm...looks like I'm gonna die...'' she mumbled to herself, looking down at her hands.

At the other side, students started to pour back into the campsite, gathering around the bonfire after their hike. Some students head straight for the showers while others hang around the small campfire, chatting. 

''Hey Rio, Yuichirou...'' Muichirou greeted as he approaches the two. ''Hey, Mui-chan.'' Rio smiled, waving at the boy as he walked up to them. Yuichirou nodded. ''Have you guys seen Y/n?'' Muicirou asked, rubbing the back of his neck.  ''Ohh what's with the sudden concern?'' Rio teased, messing with the boy. 

Muichirou only frowned, ''Nothing, just wondering where the hell she went.'' he scoffed, averting his mint eyes onto the grass beneath them. ''Well if you're asking, we don't have a clue either.'' Yuichirou shrugged, leaning onto the tree behind him. ''Maybe she hasn't returned from the hike?'' Rio wondered out loud.  ''Impossible. The hike ended half an hour ago.'' Yuichirou pointed out, checking his watch. 

''Well, wherever she could be, we shouldn't let her wander around on her own.'' Muichirou piped in, his mint eyes staring at the already rising moon. ''Let's split up and search for her,'' Rio suggested. 

The other two nodded in agreement.

Fuck Fuck Fuck

Unpleasant curses escaped Y/n lips as she dragged herself through the thick forest. ''Fuck that bitch.'' Y/n grunted, pushing branches out of her face as she walked. Her hands pushed through the leaves and thick branches which were hanging from the tall slender trees above which her tired feet swam through the tall grass. 

Pushing the last branch from her face, Y/n was finally met with a small clearing. ''Huh? Isn't this where I first started???'' The girl gasped in disbelief. ''Have I seriously been walking in circles??'' The girl shouted in anger lifting her arms above her head in frustration. However, as soon as she removed her arm from the branch, it came swinging back down at her, smacking her square in the face.

''Mhpm!'' the girl's screamed as she was attacked by the branch, making her fall backwards, down onto the grass. ''Argh, dumbass!'' she cursed, coughing out leaves as she pushed her tired body off the dirt ground. Her black to peach hair stuck out in odd angles in her ponytail. Dirt and twigs stuck into the stains of hair. 

''I hope that girl accidentally danced into a campfire and burn herself.'' Y/n mumbled, pushing herself onto her feet. Her hand propped onto a tree, leaning onto it for support as she dusts off the dirt on her bottom and her legs. The girl panted as the air around her slowly grew thinner and cooler, making it harder to breathe normally.

''Just keep walking...'' The girl told herself as he lavender shone dully under the moonlight. Suddenly, the night forest came alive. Hoots of owls could be heard from a distance as unknown creatures wander around on the grassy paths. A shivering chill rang down Y/n's spine, not knowing what nightfall could bring her.
