"Oh, Komm Schoooon!" Bill kept walking until they were sitting in a round table at the cafeteria. A pair of older boys sat down next to them.

"Who's this?"

"This is my-our new friend, Jo!" Bill put his elbows on the table and rested his chin on top of his intertwined hands.

The boy who had just spoken was a tall boy with broad shoulders, a pointy nose and light brown hair that fell just above his shoulders in a few slight waves. The other guy had blonde short hair with a black cap on. He waved in her direction, to which she answered by nodding once.

"I am Georg, and this is Gustav," the guy with the long hair said.

Josefine noticed he spoke slower and clearer than both Tom and Bill, who would sometimes get too excited when talking and started doing it way too fast for her to understand the words that came out of their mouths.

"It's nice to meet you." She said.

Gustav, the blonde one, said something that she didn't understand so she smiled and hoped it hadn't been a question.

"What can I eat?" She asked as she saw the line to get food.

"Oh, hast du hunger?" Georg asked without thinking.

Bill facepalmed while Josefine let out a laugh and managed out a 'ja'.

"Come follow me." Bill instructed and they went to get something to eat.

Josefine found that she was still not used to the foreign cuisine.

A couple days after meeting, Josefine had to present the math test along with the rest of the class, it was the only exam she hadn't been excused from since math could be done no matter the language, also she had already presented the English test and seemed to do just fine, but right now she was extremely nervous.

"Take it easy, it can't be that hard." Tom told her after sitting on the desk behind her, she was looking through some notes from her previous school. He was not worried one bit, knowing that he wasn't going to university, he trusted the band would get famous and that it would be his job to play guitar, so there was nothing else that mattered to him, except maybe girls - girls absolutely mattered to him.

"You know, I worry because I don't want to feel stupid. They might give me a shitty grade, but I know how much I know." Tom hadn't thought of that before. She didn't want to be great at school, but she liked to be able to answer the questions on exams without guessing.

It was a flaw, but she wasn't going to change.

After the exam, the class was dismissed and Josefine didn't remember telling her mother that she was going to be out of school early. For all she knew, her mother could be having a job interview. She prepared her stuff to leave and sent her mother a text message telling her she'd catch a bus and be home soon, just as the text got sent Bill went up to her. She could see by the lack of gel in his hair that he wasn't having such a good day. And if she could understand German better, she could have known just how right she was to think that because the boy went on a blabber about his long terrible day.

Tom stood beside her as his brother kept talking; the expression on Jo's face showed just how much she understood Bill. And that was not much.

The boy felt bad, so as they walked to the exit of the school he turned to Bill and made him shut up.

"She can't understand you Bill, talk slower."

"You can't?" He asked her, the poor girl blushed and nodded, Bill said sorry way too many times and gave her a hug that made her laugh quietly; when they let go she gave Tom a glare, but he kept the side smile on his face.

"Ok, we're going home." Tom and Bill stopped right outside the school gates. "Are you getting picked up or...?"

"No, I'm taking the bus." Said Josefine with her face hidden in the scarf she had worn all week. She could swear that she had never felt the air hit her that way ever.

"Nonesense!" Bill intertwined his arm to hers and started walking slowly. "You're coming with us."

Josefine protested but the brothers just pulled and pushed her so she kept walking.

"I bet you don't even know what bus to take..." Tom said once they had walked half way to the boys' house.
