C H A P T E R - I X

"And here's for you also" inabot sakin ni rosell ang isang kulay pulang bento box.

"Okey ka na, wag na tampo okey" kinukunot nya ang kanyang kilay.
Everyday syang nagdadala ng bento box para sa kanilang dalawa ni mason.

Kung di ko pa sya pinansin probably di nya pa ako gagawan ng bento.

"Thank you" i give her a tight hug with a wide smile painted on my face.

"Well would you look at that it's been a week already" i stated while opening my bento. It's the classic bento rice, tempura, some leaves and chiken catsu.

"By the way, it's been a week na and yet di ko parin alam kung saan ka nakalagay" curiosity covers rosells face.

I look at her "ahm" oh shit I'm mentally blocked.

"She's in the operation" save by the bell, by mason who is now stuffing his mouth with green leaves.

"Di ka naman nahihirapan?" Rosell ask.

"You know me rosell, im a strong independent woman" i give her a mischievous wink.

We finished our lunch and head back to our respective departments. I enter the elevator first then mason followed.

"Thanks" i muttered.

"For what?" His cold answer.

"Sa pagsagip mo sakin kanina kay rosell"

"Oh that, don't worry I'll carry your dirty little secret unto my grave"

"Dirty Little secret?"

"How pathetic, right?, Mason cruz. Being someones dirty little secret." He look at me dead in the eye. The elevator open yet I'm still frozen from where im standing.

His word is full of conviction. "What was that supposed to mean?" I ask in confusion.

He turn a round and walk to the office "nothing" i followed him.

"Whats the schedule for this afternoon" he sits at his rotating chair.

I grab the folder lying on the coffee table and immediately open it "uhm you got a meeting..."

"Screw that, cancel all my appointment im going somewhere" he interrupted my speech. He gets up remove his coat and throw it on his chair.

He quikly walk to the elevator "mason" i called him.

He turn around, i quickly bow my head down "ahm san ka... san ka pupunta baka kasi may maghanap sayo".

He just stand there and stares at me.

"If someone ask you from where i am tell them that im going somewhere, where i can't be someone's secret" and with that he close the elevator and in a moment he vanish in my peripheral vision.

I was left frozen again in the middle of this gigantic office. Small droplet of sweat started to form on my forehead.

"ba't parang ang init dito" pinunasan ko ang namumuong pawis sa noo ko.

Tiningnan ko kung nasaan ang ang aircon "my god yayamanin na kompanya pero sira ang aircon" nilapitan ko ito. I press the power button but it wont turn on.

Masyado ng mainit sa loob ng opisina i have no other choice but to... Kick it. I kick it hard and soon the machine started to let out cool breeze of air. I remove my ponytail and let my hair fell down.
